Chapter 3351 Having A Chat Over Tea

Calypsea excitedly danced around with Everlight in her hand.

She blipped around, each step blooming into an apocalyptic lotus of flames as she left a trail of world-ending flames in Saintess Lunaria's garden.

This made Davis momentarily freeze, but looking at Calypsea, keeping the flames at bay to their shape and then allowing it to recede like it was a natural phenomenon, he could tell that she almost had full control of her energy.

Turning to look at Lea, he saw her nod.

Davis smiled as though it was a matter of course, "Your safety is of the utmost importance, and I don't doubt the decisions you make while being here."

"Understood. Also, Calypsea's appetite is big. We're running out of destructive Fire Essence, and even the Fire Essence Orb you gave me is going to deplete at the current rate she's absorbing them."

Lea felt heartened. However, she didn't forget to inform him.

Davis blinked.

Weren't those resources supposed to last at least for three or four months? Did Lea use a time chamber here?

"Are you using them as treats for Calypsea when she crosses milestones set by you?"

"Yes, you said that you won't question my decisions while I'm here."

"Alright, alright. You got me."

Lea's lips curled, causing Davis to shake his head smilingly.

"Well, I would get more, but you should also ration the remaining destructive fire attribute resources, get Calypsea to conserve energy, and hold back her hunger. Otherwise, you might be devoured by her when you run out of treats."

"Ai~ That's something I could see happening."

"Really?" Davis's brows raised in shock.

"Just kidding~"

Lea giggled, causing Davis to part his lips as he didn't think Lea enjoyed her time here and wanted to come back. Now, it seems like he was worried for nothing.

'Well, this is such a peaceful land teeming with life aura… who wouldn't want to live here?'

Davis turned to look at Saintess Lunaria, who was still on the cliff. She drank something from the cup, sipping and enjoying the scene like she was on vacation.

"Of course."

Saintess Lunaria's melodious voice was firm, "If you are worried about me, then you are underestimating me."

"I never underestimated your grand self." Davis shook his head, "I know even if not for your own prowess, you will have the other Guardians or even your disciples who have ascended to protect you. Surely, at least one or two of them would've become Empyreans and made a name for themselves."

"I sure hope they did~"

Saintess Lunaria giggled, appearing amused.

"Then what do you have in mind by hoping to ask if I am still of the mind to ascend?"

Saintess Lunaria blinked, "Do you not expect to be protected by the Frostcloud Sword Empress?"

"Oh, I do expect to be protected by the Frostcloud Sword Empress. It's just… Neither Tanya nor I would be shameless enough to seek protection from her. Instead, I was curious to learn why Saintess Lunaria thinks there are better chances of survival in the true immortal world rather than staying in the First Haven World."

Davis wasn't surprised to hear that as Saintess Lunaria did indeed heal his father's soul that was karmically infected by the Accursed Warlock. He nodded but shook his head.

"Not only my father but three of my wives, Evelynn, Sophie, and Mingzhi, also have been affected by it. What do you make of this physique, and are there any unforeseeable harm because of it?"
