The cries of many Phoenixes angrily resounded throughout the Zenflame City, resonating along with the other bird cries filled with various emotions.

It caused Davis to look down and pan his gaze as he saw so many Immortal Emperors, around forty of them from other avian-type species.

They consisted mostly of Early Stage Immortal Emperors, but there were also some Mid Stage Immortal Emperors who could even be Grand Elders or Ancestors depending on the strength of their power.

It was unknown if they were long-time guests or were temporarily staying here, or even called to rally against him. He didn't care which one it was as he already declared that he was only targeting the Fire Phoenix Clan, so for them to stay here and scream at him, they were courting death.

The furious cries of the Grand Elder Phoenixes did nothing to him. Even though they packed a sonic attack enough to kill an Early Immortal Emperor or at least cause them to fall into slumber, he remained standing in the sky. The thought of massacring them didn't make his scalp turn numb or cause him to feel prickly all over his soul, which also meant it was over for the Fire Phoenix Clan- no, Zenflame Clan in terms of future unless they had a Divergent who could twist fate to their advantage somehow.

Despite having such power, they still stayed within the barrier, making Davis begin to shake as he held his forehead with one hand and chuckled.

'Bastards are wary of Calypsea… probably thinking I have her hidden in me…'

He imagined the disciples of the Ice Phoenix Clan who were with him talked about Calypsea's true prowess, which then made its way to the Phoenix Alliance before the Fire Phoenix Clan finally came to know of it.
