Chapter 3296 Fire Phoenix Clan's Two Envoys

Davis's lips curled as he walked out of their mansion.

He was thinking of sparing half of the Fire Phoenix Clan because he wanted to re-enact the World Master sparing him...?

First of all, he didn't do any wrong against the World Master, so if the World Master wanted to kill him, it would entirely be her fault, or if the World Master wanted to reap her harvest by killing him and taking Fallen Heaven, that was understandable as well.

However, the Fire Phoenix Clan did something so unforgivable that they entirely reaped what they sowed.

He was just looking for a reason to spare the guilt of having to massacre millions again and, hence, approached Zahara and Yeyin. He could certainly get past the slaughter as he was already a slaughterer, but it was not something he would like to do unless forced to, and the current him was already so strong that he could clear the enemy forces with little effort.

He only had to care about his family, which had yet to ascend, but he was going to take them all to the true immortal world anyway since he didn't believe that they could remain safe here, nor did he want them to stay here in case the World Master might somehow deign to take them as hostages even though he couldn't see the World Master doing it.

At least he was able to protect his mother and the others by ending the Vast Sky Emperor's lineage, but as for the innocents of the Zenflame Clan, there was no point in massacring them.

Both of them seemed to be Elders since they were at Level One Immortal Emperor Stage; not much of a threat with their cultivation, and their prowess shouldn't amount to much. They were clad in crimson robes carrying the Fire Phoenix Clan's emblem on their robes, the same as the people he faced were clad in back when he delivered Killian Zenflame, so he assumed that they were Zenflames.

"Come with me."

He didn't sit and talk but turned around and spoke coldly, causing the two Elders to look at each other before they followed Davis out, wondering where he was leading them.

They got on a flying boat the Emperor of Death summoned out of his spatial ring and actually headed east toward their Prefecture, causing them to blink, wondering what his intentions were. However, they couldn't stop their shuddering as a cold feeling enveloped them, making them gasp for heaven and earth energy.

The flying boat was very fast, and they were shaken to recognize that it was High-Level Immortal Emperor Grade. Flying boats of that level were very hard to come by, not to mention rare as it was only in the hands of Ancestors, but the Emperor of Death easily took one out.

They couldn't help but inwardly cry as they now knew that the rumor that he had a big harvest in the so-called Astral Forgeheart Minor Realm must be entirely true.

"What are your names?"

"Levon Zenflame!"

His voice resounded out, causing one of them to instantly shriek as he shivered while the other gulped a second later and answered.

"Tyler Zenflame…"

Davis was silent.

However, with the way they acted, he imagined that they came prepared to be sent off by the underworld by him, except he could tell the Zenflame Clan also did a dirty trick as they sent their disposable Elders to him.

"Speak." He uttered, causing Levon Zenflame to take a deep breath.

"Emperor of Death." He started in a solemn voice, "We have intentionally caused anguish to you and your family, especially to our fourth inheritor, and we can only hope to seek your forgiveness. We are aware of the consequences of our actions but would like to make up for it officially as we announce our crimes done under our Patriarch, Killian Zenflame."

"Please accept our first apology."

Levon Zenflame knelt on one leg and presented an item with his palm.

Davis was still staring ahead into the skies. He looked completely defenseless, but it seemed like they were not taking the bait, causing his lips to curl as he sent his soul force out and procured the item that was being gifted to him, wondering if it was truly a gift or an explosive poison of the highest order that could be found here.

He saw that it was a life ring, causing him to probe it with his soul force.

His figure manifested inside as he descended to the land and was fairly surprised to see a familiar face.

Davis instantly recognized that it was a similar type of sealing rune cast on the prisoners in the Astral Forgeheart Minor Realm. But seeing this naked magical beast in its human form, Davis's lips couldn't help but curve.

"Woah. You missed me chopping and cooking you so much you came back to me?"

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH! No!!! NOO!"

"FATHER! I DON'T WANT TO DIE!"

Davis quickly took out his soul sense, unable to bear the sight of Patriarch Killian Zenflame's terrified expression and miserable screams as it was entirely unsightly. Clearly, this bird wasn't the same old Patriarch who dared to scheme against Shirley or try to kill him.

That person was dead, leaving behind a husk of what was once Patriarch Killian Zenflame.

'Guess he's no longer the Patriarch officially…'

"So you have all decided to sacrifice your Patriarch at this point when I was nice enough to deliver him back? What's next? A peerless beauty of your Fire Phoenix Clan since it's rumored I'm apparently weak to women?"

Davis turned to look back at the two Elders, causing them to remain speechless as they were indeed told to satisfy whatever desires he had. However, with the way he asked, his eyes gleaming with a faint glimmer of pitch black gleam of death, they knew better than to respond and completely offend him.

The silence was blaring as he stared, making them sweat.

Finally, Davis took his gaze off of them and shot across the border of the Aurora Cloud Gate's Domain in the flying boat, entering the Southwest Fire Phoenix Prefecture.
