“What are you doing?” Just then, a few people came over.

“Maron, what happened?”

“That f*cker hit me. He hit me!” the tall and skinny guy named Maron cried out, pointing at Chen Zhao. His nose was still spewing blood.

Chen Zhao glanced at the men. They were wearing regular clothes.

They probably weren’t doctors or workers here.

He was dressed nicely and had a light smile on his face.

The leader laughed out loud. “Yes, that *sshole deserves a beating. I guess he caused trouble for you, sorry.”

Chen Zhao was a bit surprised. This guy was easier to talk to than expected.

“Hi, I’m the CEO of Sven Arts Company, Quincy Slanch.”

“Hi.” Chen Zhao shook hands with Quincy. “You can call me Chen.”

Could someone with those hands be the boss of an arts company?

Quincy walked over to Maron and kicked him. “Get up. Stop embarrassing me, you *sshole. I didn’t tell you to come so you could cause trouble.”

“I still have other things, so I’ll take my leave,” Chen Zhao said.

“Goodbye.” Quincy was still polite as he watched Chen Zhao’s back.

“Boss, why didn’t you let me teach that guy a lesson?” Maron asked unhappily.

Quincy smoothed his clothes. “When can you act properly? We have to keep a low profile instead of causing trouble wherever we go.”

Maron was hit and didn’t dare to make another sound. He followed obediently behind Quincy.

“You’re so slow with whatever you do,” Laurent complained. “Parking a car takes as long as a surgery.”

“If you keep talking, I’ll send you to the surgery room.”

“Faur, look at this bastard. Do you think Fali would be bullied by him?”

Laurent instantly went to Faur to complain. Faur already knew that Chen Zhao and Laurent didn’t have a smooth relationship.

“You’re all bullying me.” Laurent’s face was filled with anger.

“Okay, which room is your friend in?” Faur was getting impatient.

“Zone B, room 450.”

“Fourth floor, take a left after the elevator, fifth room,” Faur said. “I still have other work. Go over by yourself.”

With that, Faur left with her hands in her pockets.

“Your own fault,” Chen Zhao said gleefully.

Laurent looked at Faur’s back with an unhappy expression.

They found room 450 in Zone B.

Laurent pushed the door open and went in. This was a shared room with six patients.

“Ha… Asand!” Laurent was super loud and just started calling out to his friend.

Chen Zhao saw a bald guy in one of the beds. He looked a bit familiar for some reason.

Where did Chen Zhao see him before?

The bald guy looked at Laurent and also started yelling, “Speak softly! This is a hospital room!”

Chen Zhao was speechless. People really did turn into their friends.

“Where’s your big beard? Haha…” Laurent went to the bed and started laughing at the bald guy’s clean face.

He even annoyingly went to touch Asand’s chin.

Asand lost his temper and tried to hit Laurent, but he couldn’t get up.

He glanced at the people behind Laurent. Finally, his eyes landed on Chen Zhao.

“Ah… It’s you.”

“You know me?” Chen Zhao thought they indeed had met before.

“It’s you. It’s because of you that I got run over. If not for you, I wouldn’t be laying here.”

“I don’t remember running someone over.”

He would believe it if the guy said he was sent to the hospital by getting beat up.

But Asand had a big beard before. Now that he’d shaved his beard, he was just a fat old man.
