Chapter 116: Revenge

I looked at Tong Lin and Yan Xin. “You’re right, we do meet again. But this time, I am your host!”

Yan Xin’s eyes were about to spit fire. “Nanxing, do you know who am I? How dare you keep us trapped like animals? Where’s Tong Le? Get him out here!”

Since I was sitting in the wheelchair, I didn’t feel that they felt threatened by me. I said, “Brother Jing, bring me my crutches!” Brother Jing obliged. I stood up with the help of the crutches. Thanks to my earlier sprained ankle, I was good at using crutches. I stood up and then walked to stand before Yan Xin.

I smiled at Yan Xin’s angry face. Then I raised my hand to slap her. Everyone was stunned. They didn’t expect me to hit her.

Yan Xin was stunned for a moment before she pounced at me. However, the people behind her reacted faster than she did. They immediately held her down. Does she not realize that she’s in my territory now?

I looked at Yan Xin and said, “Yes, there are things my little uncle might not have the decency to do but that doesn’t mean it applies similarly to me. Miss Yan, after the days we’ve spent together, you should know that I am never one for the rules. Furthermore, you have kidnapped me, and injured my uncle. I don’t think a little slap is going to resolve all that, don’t you agree?”

Yan Xin struggled. “Nanxing, you really are as cunning as your mother! I’m a member of the Yan Family! If you dare to touch me, the Tong Family will suffer!”

I smiled. “Thank you, I’m always happy when people say I resemble my mother. When my family said that, I’d think they are just pampering me but when an outsider says it, it must be true.” I pinched Yan Xin’s chin. “Sigh, your name is Yan Xin so of course I know you are from the Yan Family. But what does that have to do with me? Actually there is a man who has the surname Tong right next to you but he doesn’t even have a blood relation to the Tong Family. Since you’ve hurt me and my little uncle, I’m only seeking justice. I might not know the rules of the underworld but a teeth for a teeth, I at least understand that.”

I let go and then rewarded her with another slap. I shook my hand after that, “That sure hurts.’

Tong Lin finally cut in. “Nanxing, don’t push it! When you were with us, we treated you so well!”

I turned around to smile at him. “Cousin Tong Lin, how thick is your face? We all know why you treated me so well. You trying to coax me to reveal the location of my parents’ treasure. So don’t sugarcoat it. If my uncle didn’t come to save me, you would have tortured me. So let’s not kid ourselves.”

Tong Lin turned his red face away.

I sighed, “That’s why they say money is the heart of all sins. It does make sense. I’m probably the world’s unluckiest person. My parents left something for me because they loved me, but I have suffered for it and more importantly so did the people around me. I cannot allow that to happen anymore so I have given it some thought. There is only one solution!” I sighed.

Tong Lin and Yan Xin looked at me in confusion. I smiled, “Don’t worry, you’ll get to see how I solve this problem.”

When the helicopter returned to the small island, it looked so pretty from the sky. The last time I was brought here, I was unconscious. I sighed at the beauty of it.

Seeing this, Brother Gao Jing said, “Miss, there’s still time to change your mind.”

I shook my head. “Never mind, if this can settle all the fighting, then it’s worth it.”

Brother Jing’s face was filled with reluctance. “This is where Sister Huan and Brother Zheng used to live with Miss. It is quite a pity.” I pointed at my head, “It’s alright. All the important things are already in here. I only wish for this to be over as soon as possible.” Brother Jing sighed.

When we landed, Yan Xin and Tong Lin were escorted down from the copters.

I removed my shoes and walked down the cobblestone path. Without looking at the two, I said, “My parents made everything here for me. Even the pieces of stone represent their love for me.” I turned to Yan Xin and smiled, “Yan Xin, I can say proudly that I am the real princess of the Tong Family but I am certain that you cannot say the same about your family!”
