Chapter 976

Yi Tianyun stayed with Shi Xueyun for a while before he looked for Ye Qingxuan. He wanted to thank Ye Qingxuan for her hard work so far. If Yi Tianyun had to rank the people he loved according to their importance, Shi Xueyun would obviously the first, and Ye Qingxuan would go second! 

But the person that had helped him so much from the beginning was definitely Ye Qingxuan, the Spirit Race’s saintess. She had helped the growth of Heavenly Clouds Divine Nation more than any other cultivator! 

Soon, Yi Tianyun found Ye Qingxuan and she was actually busy with so many stuff. After the battle earlier was over, Heavenly Clouds Divine Nation had so much spoils of war and there were so many people injured too that she had to treat.

“Divine King Tianyun, may I help you?” Ye Qingxuan said as she noticed Yi Tianyun’s presence. She hurriedly stood up and respectfully bowed down to Yi Tianyun. 

“Hey, there’s no need to be so formal! I am still the same teenager you saved a long time ago! Haven’t we always been friends from a long time ago?” Yi Tianyun said with a smile on his face. 

“Just a friend?” Ye Qingxuan said while biting her lips in resentment. Yi Tianyun just cleared his throat as he knew how Ye Qingxuan thought about him. She felt affection towards him, but he was so late to notice it. Still, it was better not to say anything at this point before the problem arose anew. 

“How is the Spirit Race doing now? Regarding Life Crystal, how much time do we have left?” Yi Tianyun asked curiously.

“The Life Crystal is long gone! Now our Spirit Race is in a state where we can’t conceive a child anymore. We already search up and down everywhere in the Three Realms, but we don’t have any replacement for the Life Crystal. The God will kill us soon enough!” Ye Qingxuan said with a deep sigh.

They are desperate as their situation isn’t getting any better. They didn’t need to hide anymore, but without the Life Crystal, the Spirit Race was as good as extinct! 

“Don’t worry, I have found a place! Take my hand and relax! Don’t resist the flow!” Yi Tianyun said as reached out for Ye Qingxuan’s hand.

Ye Qingxuan just nodded and took Yi Tianyun’s hand. Yi Tianyun immediately let Ye Qingxuan enter the Core inside his body. Ye Qingxuan immediately felt the strong Life Energy in this place as this was the first time she ever felt a Core up close. 

“What is this? Where are we? And what’s with this overwhelmingly strong Life Energy?” Ye Qingxuan said surprisedly. 

“This is my world, it’s inside my Core! Do you think the Spirit Race will like this place?” Yi Tianyun asked with a smile on his face.

“Yes! This place is definitely good! The strong Life Energy would flourish the vitality within our body! if Spirit Race lived here, our race would thrive!” Ye Qingxuan said with amazement. “But if this is the world within your body, does it mean we will always live inside you?” Ye Qingxuan wondered.

Yi Tianyun then brought her out to the outside world again before looking at her with smile on his face. “No, I will always be facing danger and I don’t know what it would bring to all of you if you all are inside of me! I am afraid I will accidentally hurt you!” Yi Tianyun said honestly. “This is only temporary, when I leave later, I will come back with a strong crystal that would be far more powerful than the Life Crystal!” Yi Tianyun said confidently. What he meant was definitely the Core of Divine Temple of life itself! 

“If you say so, I will look forward to it!” Ye Qingxuan said excitedly. The Spirit Race was worried about their wellbeing, but if Yi Tianyun already had the answer to their problem, then they would definitely put their faith on him. 

“Don’t worry, I won’t let you wait for too long! I am the Spirit King of the Spirit Race, and I will always solve the Spirit Race’s problem! The current problem drags for too long because none other than my own incompetence!” Yi Tianyun said with a sigh.

“Don’t say stuff like that, our King! If it weren’t for you, our Spirit Race would’ve long perished from this world! We are sorry that we aren’t able to find the solution ourselves, but we believe that you will lead us to glory!” Ye Qingxuan said with eyes full of gratitude. 

Yi Tianyun smiled as he knew that none of this was a trivial matter. The Heavenly Clouds Divine Nation’s Divine Rune were managed by the Spirit Race, and thus the Heavenly Clouds prosperity was on the hands of the Spirit Race themselves! 

“Oh, yea! I almost forgot to tell you, My King! But do you have time later? In a few days, we are going to visit our Ancestral Land and we hope that you can accompany us as our Spirit King!” Ye Qingxuan said worriedly. She knew that Yi Tianyun didn’t have any connection to their Ancestral Land, so Yi Tianyun didn’t have any obligation to follow her there.

“Alright, I don’t have any problem with that!” Yi Tianyun said as he agreed quickly. But Yi Tianyun was still confused by what Ye Qingxuan meant. “Didn’t you used to live in the forest? Isn’t that place your Ancestral Land?” Yi Tianyun asked curiously.

“That is true, but our real Ancestral Land is not there.” Ye Qingxuan explained. 

“Alright, then notify everyone and we will hasten our departure date.” Yi Tianyun ordered with a smile on his face. Although he was still curious of where the Spirit Race Ancestor Land might be, he knew that he just had to see it for himself later. 

The preparation for departure didn’t take too long, and after two days, they were immediately on their way. They all said that the entire Spirit Race was connected to their Ancestral Land in some way. This was the first time Yi Tianyun had ever heard of it as he always thought that the forest was the Spirit Race’s Ancestral Land, but that didn’t seem to be true.

Ye Qingxuan and the Spirit Race Old Ancestor led the way and they soon arrived at Burning Heaven Divine Land, the Spirit Race’s Ancestral Land.

Yi Tianyun was confused to see this Burning Heaven Divine Land himself as he knew that the place was a bit weird. There were so many pillars standing, like they were supporting the sky itself and there was nothing else around except for a vast meadow! 

“Is this the Ancestral Land of the Spirit Race?” Yi Tianyun said with surprise on his face, but when he carefully inspected the Stone Pillar, he sensed the familiar power and Yi Tianyun knew for sure that it was the Three Realm’s Core Power!
