“This place is ridiculous! I can’t seem to find the right direction whatsoever!” Yi Tianyun said as he walked around aimlessly. All he saw was sand wherever he went, and there was no noticeable sign whatsoever that he could see! He kept pressing onward, but after a while, he felt energy pulling his feet and trying to drag him down to the sand! Yi Tianyun immediately jumped and got away from the force immediately.

Although he knew that the assessment wouldn’t kill its participant, it would be such a shame if Yi Tianyun was eliminated shortly after entering! After all, one could only enter the assessment once a year! So, as Yi Tianyun realised that he couldn’t just leisurely walk on the dangerous sand, he began to leap crazily high at high speed! The tower prevented flying, but it didn’t say anything about leaping!

“I am sure the exit is right ahead!” Yi Tianyun said as he remembered the information that Fan Hongde shared earlier. The assessment was ever-changing, and so, it wouldn’t create something that the participant couldn’t escape, but in turn, the test would be something that would test the participant’s innate talent!

“The exit at last!” Yi Tianyun said as he finally returned to the long winding corridor!

“This is interesting! I am sure that I already traveled quite far back then, but it turns out I only travelled several meters!” Yi Tianyun said as he observed the corridor some more. It was clear now that the place wasn’t only for evaluating the next Tower Lord but also a place to hold off any intruders and outsiders who forcefully attacked the tower!

When he was about to walk forward, Fan Hongde suddenly appeared on the side. Yi Tianyun was surprised, but Fan Hongde was even more surprised as he never expected any outsider to finish the first world! “Have you been here before?” Fan Hongde asked curiously. What surprised Fan Hongde the most was that Yi Tianyun passed the first test on his first time taking the Tower Lord’s assessment!

“It is a little bit difficult to pass, but it wasn’t really that hard!” Yi Tianyun smiled at Fan Hongde. Fan Hongde, in turn, just silently gazed upon Yi Tianyun as if he was some sort of freak. But as they busily chatted with each other, Demon God Suo Te finally appeared.

As Fan Hongde and Yi Tianyun saw that Suo Te showed up, they just snorted and moved forward, ignoring Suo Te altogether. But Suo Te was actually shocked as he didn’t expect Fan Hongde and the brat finished faster than him. It was humiliating for him as he was the one that had the strongest cultivation base among them!

“Let’s go!” Yi Tianyun said to Fan Hongde as he kept going, with Fan Hongde following close behind. After a few steps, both of them disappeared as they entered another world. For Yi Tianyun, he was instantly submerged as he was in the Water World right now, a place that was only surrounded by the sea! This environment was harsh as he was just from the Desert World before!

Yi Tianyun sighed and started to swim forward, but not too long after he swam, a pulling force that he encountered earlier on Desert World was here too! Yi Tianyun grumbled and shot an energy blast backward, propelling him forward extremely fast! The pulling force in the sea couldn’t pull Yi Tianyun strong enough as the force Yi Tianyun exerted to propel himself forward was far stronger!

This way, Yi Tianyun quickly reached the exit and escaped the Water World without a hitch. He arrived back at the corridor. Again Yi Tianyun looked around and noticed that he was indeed just around 10 meters from his previous spot on the corridor before he was transported to the Water World.

He didn’t hesitate this time and quickly stepped into another world! The next world was weird as Yi Tianyun was immediately welcomed by sharp edges everywhere he could see! The edges were all made of metal, and some swords even flew towards Yi Tianyun, clearly trying to stab or slash him to pieces.

Yi Tianyun pushed through with all his might and reached the exit once again. He now understood the fundamental aspect of these worlds that was used as a test. It followed the five elements, that was Fire, Water, Earth, Wood, And Metal! It was the information that he got now as he remembered that Fan Hongde said that it would be 5 worlds! The test seemed to be about the ability of the participant to resist the Five Element or overcome it with their ability!

But for Yi Tianyun, it wasn’t difficult at all! He just pushed through the worlds like it was nothing. All he needed was sufficient speed to reach the exit without minding the world’s Element. He then pressed onward and entered another world. This time, he entered the Fire World, just as he expected! The only world left after this was Wood World!

He breezed through the Fire World in no time and entered the Wood World after! He stepped into the Wood World and noticed that the world was a spacious hall. There was a huge wall in front of him, and it was very smooth too! Other than that, there wasn’t any other entrance or anything inside the world! Yi Tianyun didn’t know where to go. Even the entrance he used to get here was no longer there!

“What test is this supposed to be?” Yi Tianyun said to himself as he started walking. Fan Hongde didn’t explain any of the worlds specifically, as it seemed Fan Hongde never really cleared the entire Five world before.

Yi Tianyun approached the huge wall, and he suddenly shone in bright light! It looked like the barrier that materialised during the duel on Layered City! Yi Tianyun frowned as he was confused to see that there was no opponent here! So, did he have to find his opponent first?

But as Yi Tianyun was contemplating what to do next, a voice came from behind.

“You… how did you get here so fast?” Fan Hongde asked as he appeared on the Wood World. Clearly, Fan Hongde thought that he was the first one to arrive here, so he was surprised to see Yi Tianyun was already waiting there.

“I just keep going forward!” Yi Tianyun frowned as he didn’t remember doing anything special.
