Chapter 135 - Talk - Part 2

Xiu Mei unconsciously wrapped her arms around his neck as Lu Chen returned to devouring her lips. Her response was like on autopilot, as she willingly welcomed him back and responded to his kiss. She played with his hair, earning a groan from him.

Lu Chen's hand moved from the back of her head towards her scrunchie, holding up her hair. He didn't hesitate in pulling it off her, her hair falling like a waterfall tangling itself on his hands.

He pulled away and went back to attacking her neck, leaving trails of kisses along the way.

"Uhm...Ahhh…" Xiu Mei cried out in pleasure. Instead of crying out from the pain, her voice came out like a m.o.a.n which motivated Lu Chen to do more.

Dropping his support on her leg, he slipped his leg in between hers. His free hand wandering on her blouse as he carefully stroked her clothed body. It slowly moved down, reaching the end of her skirt which already rode up above her mid-thighs. He played with the hem of her skirt before finally sticking his hand on her n.a.k.e.d skin.

He caressed and pinched her soft and supple skin. His hand gradually pushed her skirt up, even more, exposing more of her legs until he stopped dangerously near her private part.

"Chen…" She m.o.a.ned, feeling him going lower as he continued to bite her. He had already unbuttoned the top part of her blouse, exposing her underwear underneath it.

He was just about to go and devour her soft chest but Lu Chen suddenly regained a strand of his sanity when he heard Xiu Mei cry out his name.

It was like something snapped within him, waking him up from the spell.

All his movements instantly halted. He pulled away from Xiu Me's exposed chest, finally getting a good look at her appearance.

Lu Chen's heart skipped a beat, and his eyes darkened seeing her disheveled appearance. The reddish hickeys he made was marked on her white skin. It was all scattered on her neck, collarbone, and above her chest.

He raised his head again and examined her face.

Her lips were slightly open, as she continued to pant. It was so red and plump that it looks like it was inviting him to attack it again. Her whole face was flushed, and even if her head is slightly tilted towards the right, he could see her unfocused gaze.

Overall, she looked very tempting right now in front of him. If he continued ravaging her just like a few seconds ago, he wouldn't have let her go once he really started caressing her important parts.

Lu Chen gulped nervously, taking deep breaths as he tried to get a grip of his control and sanity that he threw out the window just a while ago. He looked away from her figure. With her exposed chest heaving up and down as she panted heavily, his control was wavering again.

In front of the woman he loves, the words rational and calm do not exist in his vocabulary at all.

Taking a deep breath, he was finally able to get a grip on his senses. He returned his sight on her body again.

Then with his hand, he pulled up and buttoned up her blouse that slightly crumpled up under his hands a few minutes ago. Then he removed his legs in between hers and pulled down the skirt she was wearing that stopped mid-thigh.

He slowly fixed her attire but Xiu Mei was still lost and unresponsive. Her sight never left the ground even after that. It seemed like she was still caught up in the spell they were in a few minutes ago.

Lu Chen ran his fingers on her hair. "Xiu Mei?"

"..."

"Xiu Mei?" He got close to her face, and holding her chin, he lifted her face to make her look at him.

He blinked in confusion after seeing her eyes. It was like an empty gaze and even though her eyes were looking straight into him, it felt like she was actually seeing through him instead.

"Xiu Mei?" He didn't know why but he suddenly felt nervous.

Something was wrong with his wife.

"Wife?" He touched her face.

Xiu Mei's eyes suddenly quivered, then she blinked. The empty gaze instantly wiped off on her face and replace by confusion. She looked at Lu Chen's face, baffled.

"Xiu Mei, are you alright?"

"Huh?"

"Are you alright?"

"Uh… yeah, I think so."

"Are you sure?"

Xiu Mei nodded hesitantly. For a moment, she felt like her mind totally blanked out but she didn't know why. All she could remember was that she and Lu Chen were in the midst of a make-out sess--ah?

Her brain that was dysfunctional a while ago suddenly kicked in and buffered.

The kisses and Lu Chen's touches slowly registered in her brain and in an instant, her face turned red again.

"Wife?" Lu Chen worriedly called her again.

Then she raised her head to look at him. She finally realized the disheveled appearance of the man in front of her.

His necktie was loosened, his collar and suit are both creased then his hair that was styled neatly this morning was in a complete mess now after she continuously brushed her fingers on his hair. She can even see a faint trace of her lipstick on his lips.

....fudge.

Her breath hitched as she suddenly hiccuped. She couldn't help but reach out her hand to wipe away the smudged red lipstick on the side of his lips.

She paused when she finally realized what she was doing the moment she and Lu Chen's eyes met.

...well, shit.

They both looked away, blushing furiously. Both of them looked like a pair of innocent high schoolers that did something secretly somewhere in an empty room at school.

My god. My god.

Xiu Mei was instantly filled with inner turmoil. Even though they've already kissed before, she couldn't believe what just happened.

Lu Chen's warm hands that lingered on her skin and the pleasurable pain that left her m.o.a.ning replayed in her mind so she couldn't help but go crazy.

D-Did she really had a make-out session with Lu Chen just now? That fast? In the midst of their argument?

Ahhh! Damn it. What's even more unbelievable was that she actually succ.u.mbed to him! She couldn't even imagine what would have happened next if Lu Chen didn't stop.

"..."

Yeah, let's not imagine that censored stuff anymore.

A few moments later, the two sat next to each other on the couch albeit the atmosphere was filled with awkward silence. Both their clothes and appearance properly fixed again as if the events from less than an hour ago didn't happen. If it weren't for the exposed hickeys on her neck, anyone wouldn't think something happened between them.

Lu Chen couldn't stand the silence anymore and grabbed her hand startling Xiu Mei. Still sensitive, she felt like some kind of electricity ran through her arm as soon as he touched her hand.

"Xiu Mei, I don't want a divorce."

He declared. He looked straight in her eyes with a serious expression.

"Please, don't leave me." This time, his tone changed. He lifted up her hand and placed a kiss on it. He held her hand as if it was the most precious thing in the world as he begged her.

"I'll be honest, okay? Just don't leave me."

"I'll work on the things that you said we lack. Trust, communication or whatever that is, I'll work on it. I'll cooperate with you. Xiu Mei, I…"

He paused as he reached out his hand to caress her cheek.

"I.. I love you."

"..."

Her heart thumped. Xiu Mei's eyes widened at the sudden confession as she gasped in surprise.

She almost thought that her ears were playing some kind of joke with her, not until he repeated his confession.

This time, he leaned over her until their foreheads are now touching.

"I love you, Xiu Mei. I love you, my dearest wife."

She would be lying if she said she couldn't feel his sincerity. She felt touched at the same time, she was overwhelmed by the different waves of emotions that were running within her.

She felt like she was on cloud nine. Ecstatic, excited, and nervous at the same time.

She didn't expect a confession from him at all when she followed him to his office. Heck, she didn't even expect it at all.

After all, it hasn't been that long since they've taken the leap to try to fall in love with each other. But Lu Chen kept his promise, and now he was confessing.

She remembered what he said to her back then when he proposed to her for the second time.

"I may not love you right now, but I will love you. I will do. Then you'll be Mrs.Lu."

She already became Mrs.Lu. And now, he has fallen in love with her.
