Even when Best Actor Fu was thinking about other things, his acting was still top-notch.

When they started filming again, Lin Yousu had finally gotten into the role. This meant that they were finally on track to finish filming, at last.

“As expected of Best Actor Fu.” After the director yelled cut, Lin Yousu quickly walked up to Fu Sichen. She had a big smile on her face that made her eyes curve into the shape of crescent moons, “I really learn a lot when I’m filming with you.”

Fu Sichen looked Lin Yousu expressionlessly. Even his reply was perfunctory; he only gave a simple grunt of agreement.

“I also saw Pei Zhen’s acting.” After failing to get Fu Sichen respond to her, Lin Yousu tried to bring up another topic, “If I do say so myself, even if Pei Zhen got really lucky, he still wouldn’t have become Best Actor. No matter what, the position of Best Actor would always be yours, Sichen.”

This up and coming leading lady had already become a veteran of the entertainment circle. The way that she transitioned between topics was extremely natural. Furthermore, she had even boldly addressed Fu Sichen as Sichen.

“Pei Zhen’s acting?” Fu Sichen laughed coldly before saying rather sarcastically, “If Pei Zhen had been the female lead today, then we would have finished filming in an hour.”

Lin Yousu immediately turned red out of embarrassment.

No matter what, Lin Yousu was an up and coming female actress who was in high demand. On any given day, there would be people fighting to be at her beck and call. But, when it came to Fu Sichen…?

She couldn’t get close to him at all! Fu Sichen was way out of her league!

“Ugh, Fu Sichen!” Lin Yousu cried angrily as she entered her own changing room. “He’s really too much!”

“You don’t need to bother too much with him. We can always release our own story.” Lin Yousu’s manager schemed, “I mean, the fact that the Persian cat used to be yours is undeniably true.”

The minute that Fu Sichen posted anything about his Persian cat, Lin Yousu could also take the chance to announce that the cat used to be her pet.

All they needed to do was inject ambiguity into the whole situation, sensationalizing the entire incident. This would definitely attract fans while also helping Lin Yousu get more publicity.

“But…” Lin Yousu was still hesitating, “Would Fu Sichen allow us to use him like that?”

“Why wouldn’t he?” The manager didn’t think it was a problem at all, “He can’t deny that you were the Persian cat’s original owner. All we would do, is state the truth. Of course, we wouldn’t be able to control how the fans interpret this news… You know what I mean?”

Lin Yousu thought about it for a while. It seemed to make sense. She looked at her manager before raising an eyebrow, “Have I ever taken a picture with that cat?”

“Don’t worry, I’ve already prepared everything.” The manager laughed.

Good photography required a certain level of technical skill. So, paparazzi had to focus on not only being technically skilled enough to take good pictures, but also having a decent game plan.

It took a lot of hard work to bring an idea into fruition.

Fu Sichen still didn’t know what Lin Yousu was thinking. After they finished filming, he had left in a hurry.

Xiao Nian drummed up the courage to follow him.

Nothing particularly bad happened. The only glaring thing, was that between him and his Daddy Pei Zhen, there were four or five bodyguards.

“Best Actor Fu, I’m innocent, really. I don’t have any hidden motives.” Xiao Nian, whose only ulterior motive had been to experience the luxury of private jet service, was placed in a narrow little seat instead. He was almost in tears, feeling the injustice of it all, “Pei Pei is yours!”

Emotionlessly, Fu Sichen put up the barrier between the private compartment and Xiao Nian’s seat. He said, “Of course he’s mine. He can only be mine.”
