There was no way Fu Sichen would keep a dog.

He was even a little reluctant to keep a cat.

Looking at each other was a real chore for the pair. When the filming ended at the end of the day, both man and cat were exhausted. After a bath, the cat jumped through the air, straight towards the bed.

Before the cat could even land on the bed, someone had grabbed it by the scruff of its neck.

“Who allowed you to get onto my bed, go to your own corner.”

The Persian cat was furious and charged at Fu Sichen, baring its teeth and waving its claws, creating such a commotion that Fu Sichen couldn’t sleep.

Before Pei Zhen could say a thing to Fu Sichen, a fat round cat had suddenly occupied all of the phone’s video screen. “Meow…”

It sounded terribly grieved, its blue eyes were round and glistening as if it was going to cry the next minute.

“Little darling, are you having fun filming?” Pei Zhen could not help smiling when he saw his big darling boyfriend. “What’s wrong? Did your Daddy Fu bully you?”

Separated by the screen and unable to get a pat from Pei Zhen, the Persian cat felt frustrated and meowed softly again.

“It’s just acting pitiful.” Fu Sichen complained, unhappy that the phone screen was taken over by the cat. He coldly swept the cat aside. “It’s well-fed and sleeps well; it even scratched a dog today.”

Saying that, he changed the topic to focus on himself. “What about you? Do you only care about that wretched little cat?”

What Fu Sichen meant was that there was this bigger darling right there that needed pampering and caring for!

“Don’t you feel silly competing with a cat?” Pei Zhen asked with scorn in his voice, but couldn’t help asking next, “How many more days are you there for?”

He remembered that, cough cough, when he was a cat and took part in the show, the filming took place over a week.

“Seven years.”

“So long?!” Pei Zhen exclaimed.

“A day without you feels like a year!” Fu Sichen boldly proclaimed. “The days feel exceptionally long when you’re not here.”

Pei Zhen felt the pain, and it almost broke his heart. “Errrrr, how about I give you a kiss?”

“Go ahead!”

As Fu Sichen said that, the Persian cat suddenly flew over again with a swoosh and put itself between FuSichen and the phone, making itself the recipient of the kiss.

Fu Sichen was thoroughly annoyed.

“Meow,” said the satisfied cat.

Fu Sichen turned icy and felt like strangling the cat. “You little bastard!!!”

“Hey, it’s midnight.” Pei Zhen was secretly happy to catch Fu Sichen in a rare moment of jealousy, completely ignoring how the pitiful man felt. “Goodnight, I’m going to bed.”

Before Fu Sichen could even get a word in, the video call was disconnected, and the only image left on the screen was the Persian cat’s fat face.
