Still, the poison tide above him was deeply unsettling, and he couldn't afford to waste time. He needed to acquire that item as quickly as possible and find a hiding place.

Soon, Landon arrived at the central palace and concealed himself in a corner to observe.

This was a massive and majestic palace, occupying a vast area, larger than any of the other outside halls.

The palace had a pointed roof, and it was intricately carved with serpents. These serpents were depicted coiling around columns and adorning the eaves, almost everywhere you looked.

"These snakemen like to worship serpents!" Wang Teng thought to himself.

"After all, the snakemen have half of the serpent bloodline," Round Ball said. "However, only those unique and powerful serpent bloodlines can merge with human bloodlines to give rise to the snakemen."

Wang Teng nodded. He felt that he was learning something new.

Standing near the palace, a faint sense of pressure emanated from the central pillar of light, diffusing in all directions.

King Teng couldn't help but look up at the central palace with its towering spire. He saw the coiled serpent carved onto the spire, its massive mouth wide open, and the pillar of light seemed to be spewing out from it, creating a surreal sight.

"This should be the queen's inner palace."

Staying hidden in the distance, he activated his Real Eye and observed. He saw that several cosmos-stage martial warriors were guarding the palace.

To his surprise, he noticed a familiar figure—Zagu!

The defiant snakeman who had refused to submit to the queen!

Wang Teng couldn't help but ponder Zagu's fate, wondering if he had ultimately surrendered to the queen.

Walking out of the corridor, Landon entered a spacious hall with a towering throne at its center.

A mesmerizing snakewoman was coiled upon the throne, her alluring figure reclined in a way that emanated an irresistible charm. A simple movement released a captivating allure that was nothing short of terrifying.

Her serpentine lower half swayed slightly, exuding a unique and exotic allure.

Undeniably, the queen possessed a charisma that surpassed all other snakewomen.

Even someone as resolute as Landon couldn't help but be momentarily captivated upon seeing her up close.
