For example, while this novel is all about Zhao Jie pampering Wei Luo, The Dreamer in the Spring Boudoir is about a main character that has to break up the novels main male and female lead so she can return to modern times. Shes much more pragmatic about love than most of the characters in ChongFei Manual. I think she would really get along well with Empress Chen. In one chapter, she thinks, True love was one thing. Living ones life was another matter. How deep would a love have to be to last for an entire lifetime? At the most, the sweetness of love would last for a few years. The remaining years would depend on the couples ability to get along with each other.

P.s.s. The second half of the novel is filled with fluffy and indulgent moments. But, it takes a long time for the main pairing to get to that point. There's one specific scene that I thought was so romantic and I wanted to translate it first, but it wouldn't feel as meaningful if you didn't read the first half of the novel first. There's a lot fuffy moments in the first half of the novel, but it's mostly between the side characters.
