Chapter 94 - Unexpected Intruder.

"How can you just barge into this room like this? This is a private room." Wu Ying was vexed when they were interrupted. "Do you want to—" Wu Ying was startled when she looked at the woman's face.

Noticing Wu Ying's expressions, Wu Xiuqin frowned and turned back to look at the intruder. A long silence followed in which no one of them dared to speak. Wu Ying rose in shock. "How⁠—" It took a long time for them to recognize Jing Lihua. But her dark green eyes couldn't be mistaken. It was a feature that was unique to her. Wu Ying didn't care to hide the contempt in her eyes. The woman was the source of all their misfortune.

"It's been a while Wu Xiuqin." Jing Lihua walked towards Wu Xiuqin with a calm smile completely ignoring Wu Ying. "It was quite hard to find where you were. But I managed. I wanted to give you a surprise before I left for Beijing. After all, it wouldn't be fair if I left without greeting you considering we had been so close once." Jing Lihua approached her gesturing toward a seat across her. "Would you mind?"

"No." Wu Xiuqin finally broke out of the stupor. It wasn't that she wasn't surprised. It was just that she had expected it. Sooner or later Jing Lihua would come back at her. Wu Xiuqin knew that Jing Lihua amnesia was only temporary. So Wu Xiuqin was comparatively calmer than Wu Ying. "Do you remember everything?" There was a flash of anxiety in Wu Xiuqin's eyes. As if there was something that Wu Xiuqin didn't want her to remember. But her expressions were soft. There was no way to know her real intentions.

"I won't be fair to say I recall everything." Jing Lihua's words were always enigmatic. "But I do recall that it was you who brought me here six years ago. And I do recall how we met. And I do remember the strong bond that once we shared." Her expressions were very natural.

Wu Xiuqin laughed. "So you do remember everything." There was a certainty in her eyes. It looked like she was shedding her disguise.

Jing Lihua smiled. "You were the one who introduced me to Li Zhiqiang. In that sense, I owe you. So for what happened back then I can forgive you."

Wu Xiuqin wasn't surprised to hear that. But listening to Li Zhiqiang's names bared some wounds and her sardonic face became expressionless.

"Who do you think you are? What do you mean you forgive her?" Wu Ying didn't feel good when she was ignored by Jing Lihua. In her eyes, that woman didn't even deserve to be standing in their sight. The Wu family didn't know anything about Jing Lihua. Over the years, Li Zhiqiang had been able to keep her identity hidden in order to protect her. It was not until recently Wu Junjie had discovered she was the President of Tang enterprise when Jing Lihua made quite some news after taking hold of the office. But Wu Junjie had still kept her identity as Tang enterprise President hidden from his family. They didn't even know that Jing Lihua was married.

"The likes of you do not even deserve to stand at this place. Isn't it ridiculous that you stand here saying you will forgive the daughter of the Wu family?" Wu Ying always thought Jing Lihua was just some commoner. That exalted her contempt towards her. She wasn't aware that Jing Lihua was the President of the Tang enterprise. "How did they even let you in? The service at this nightclub is seriously falling."

Jing Lihua totally ignored her and kept her eyes on Wu Xiuqin. Like Wu Ying wasn't even there. "I say I can forgive you for what happened back then because it was not entirely your fault. But that doesn't mean that if something like that happens again then I'll forgive you."

"You have changed Jing Lihua." Wu Xiuqin said. The woman in front of her had the same brilliant green eyes but the spark in them was totally different. Her personality was so strong.

"If I hadn't, wouldn't it be easy for you to get rid of me?" Jing Lihua smiled.

"Excuse me I had said something to you?" Wu Ying's patience was at the brink. She leaned in, intending to grab Jing Lihua's arm in vexation. but Jing Lihua gave her an icy look that froze her into a motionless state.

"You wouldn't dare to touch me." Her voice was cold.

Wu Ying shuddered. Anger bubbled her. Why should she be scared of that woman? "Mind your manners Jing Lihua. I see you have gotten some guts. But remember your place. Your guts would only get you—"

"Are you done?" Jing Lihua's was getting bored at her nonsense. She yawned and looked at Wu Ying with languid eyes. "If you are done should I continue what I came here for?"

Wu Ying was startled. She almost gritted her teeth in anger. She had never been treated with such disrespect. Not after Li Zhiqiabg had sided their family anyway. "Are you provoking me on purpose? Do you want me to call the security to kick you out? Do you think I wouldn't dare that or do you think I don't have the capability to do that? The club owner has been trying to flatter us. If I asked him to do this little favor for me, he would eagerly go any extent to entertain us." Her words were ambiguous. There was a wide range of possibilities that she could have meant by that. "I would like to see how Li Zhiqiang finds you appealing then."

To her irritation, Jing Lihua didn't shudder and cringe away as she had hoped for. Instead, she gave an icy laugh. "I'll like to see you try who dares to touch me." Her eyes were resolute and unyielding. The way she looked at Wu Ying was akin to looking at some beggar.

"We will see." Wu Ying was at the edge. She grabbed out her phone and angrily dialed a number. She had just exchanged a few words when abruptly Wu Xiuqin stood and walked to her. "Elder sister stop." Her eyes looked soft and gentle. Her expressions were so pitiful that they could melt any man's heart.

"What are you—"

"Why do you have to be so acidic? Jing Lihua was here just to greet me. Why do you have to be so bad to her? You are really making our Wu family look bad. Elder sister, you are my blood but sometimes you make me wish you weren't. I can't understand what makes you so vicious. " There were even tears in Wu Xiuqin's eyes as if she was heartbroken. "Please don't be like this. Otherwise, I might have to..."

Wu Ying couldn't believe that her little sister would say something like that.

But away from them, Jing Lihua's lips curled up into a smile. Because she knew exactly what had prompted Wu Xiuqin to suddenly say all these things.

Standing at the door was someone unexpected.
