Chapter 192: New realms of shamelessness

"I can't believe it finally happened. I can't believe-" Zhao Liying choked on her tears. "You have no idea how much I have prayed for this day to come. You have no idea!" She looked at Jing Lihua with her emotional eyes as if Jing Lihua had just recovered from a life-threatening fourth stage cancer.

Jing Lihua was speechless.

A while later, black lines covered her face.

"Mo Liang, what the heck?" She could only complain to the seemingly saner of her two friends, Mo Liang.

Mo Liang shrugged off the blame. "Well, after she heard the news, I did try to stop her."

"You guys- Zhao Liying, that's not how you pacify someone who is suffering from a divorce!"

That was what Jing Lihua had been hooked for! They had told her they wanted to take her out to lift her spirits after a devastating divorce!

"When we said that we are going to take you to a club to pacify your sorrows back at your apartment, we were being sarcastic!" Mo Liang said, after knowing exactly what Jing Lihua was thinking. Since both of them knew that Jing Lihua's relationship with Su Liwei was not real, they were hoping for their divorce for a long time.

And this outcome had to be a happy event for them.

"That doesn't matter... The real issue is that I can't come in open and celebrate like this."

Jing Lihua didn't mind Zhao Liying actions but right now, there were countless eyes observing her. The more she acted victim and pitiful, the more the blame of divorce would shift on the Su family.

She could not act happy!

But Zhao Liying spirts were not of a sorrowful pacifying friend. But rather of a cheerful and joyous friend who was happy for a friend's wedding.

The difference was too obvious.

Jing Lihua could only sigh.

The commotion Zhao Liying had caused attracted attention from the people. Since it was a high-end club, the people were mostly high profile figures. They immediately recognized Jing Lihua.

"Isn't it President Jing who has been making headlines nowadays?"

"Haha, her publicity shames some of the most famous artists! The situation is rather funny!" Someone laughed.

"It appears her friends have taken her out to help her move on. After all, a divorce is no small matter." Someone sighed.

"After this matter, I have my sympathies for her."

Those were the thoughts of the bystanders. However, how could they know their sympathies were only being wasted here?

That, the trio was not here to drink and forget the sorrows caused by the divorce but rather celebrate the very divorce?

"You can't blame us. We are merely happy for you and want to celebrate!"

Jing Lihua squinted her eyes. "As if I don't know you. After winning the spokesmanship from that perfume brad, your schedule had been tightly locked. You just want an excuse to slip away from your manager and party around without any restraint."

Mo Liang chuckled. "You should have seen her acting in front of her Manager. She had fabricated a very emotional tale of how deeply you were in love with Su Liwei and how heartbroken you must have been after the divorce. She managed to convince him that you needed her meticulous 'caring' or you might commit suicide."

Jing Lihua was astonished. "Zhao Liying, you are reaching new realms of shamelessness."

"Hey! Hey! I am seriously happy for you. You have no idea how long I have despised that Su Liwei jerk. To see your best friend being treated like trash and being unable to say a word against him because you fear that your best friend would disown you, you have no idea what kind of gut-wrenching feeling that is!"

Jing Lihua was speechless. Actually it was true.

A couple of times Zhao Liying had tried to caution Jing Lihua aginst Su Liwei. But all those times that had resulted in Jing Lihua fighting with Zhao Liying.

"So..." Zhao Liying smiled wickedly. "How far have the things progressed between you and your President Li?"

Jing Lihua's face darkened. "You don't dare."

At a distance, a young man was glancing at the trio with inexplicable emotions in his eyes.

"Yufan Ge, I observed you have been staring at that particular woman for a long time. Could it be that Yufen Ge is interested in her?"

"Isn't it the owner of Tang Groups? Lang Yufan you better not mess with her. She is in the spotlight nowadays. If you get close to her, you might get troubled."

"Have your Yefan Ge ever been afraid of rumors?" Lang Yufan laughed.

His eyes glinted with a particular light as he glanced in their direction.

'Jing Lihua, you had been arrogant in the past. Let's see you can keep up with your attitude after being abandoned by the man you married.'

Others might think it was Jing Lihua who had taken the initiative to back out of the wedding but Lang Yufan knew everything. He knew that the Su family had been up against Jing Lihua for long. He also knew that Su Liwei was never sincere to her and was merely using her.

Sneering in his heart, he walked in their direction.
