In a private room, inside the hotel.

"Dammit! That Jing Lihua Bitch! We will get back at you!"

"Missing me already?" His playful voice came from the other side.

"You wish." Jing Lihua retorted with a smile.

"Jingjing, you shouldn't be behaving like this. Have you forgotten what you promised me? You promised I won't have to wait. That means when you come back, you will be mine."

Jing Lihua paused. "So?"

"So?" Li Zhiqiang chuckled. "Since you would be mine, I would have the liberty to do whatever I want to you. Don't you think you start treating me nicely?"

Jing Lihua's throat felt dry. "You already so whatever you want!" Was there anything that could stop the great 'Devil' from doing what he wanted? Nothing!

Jing Lihua shook her head helplessly. "Nevermind, I called you to ask something of you. You should have already heard of it minding your vast connections." Side of her lips curled up. 

"Is it about Su Lanfen and the scandals she prepared to clean herself exploiting my Jingjing? You can rest assured! No mainstream channel would dare to release a thing about that. In fact, the things that will be released would be quite contradictory." Li Zhiqiang's eyes darkened.

Jing Lihua: "..." 

This Great Devil- sure is fast.

"That's not what I want you to do." Jing Lihua said.

Li Zhiqiang frowned in confusion. He had already arranged everything. Someone dared to slander his precious Jingjing, how could he sit quietly? To get a detailed list of all the dirty things in Su Lanfen's past, some genuine some fake, was not something difficult for someone like him.

He had already prepared the stuff a long time ago since the day she had first hurt Jing Lihua back in the restaurant.

He was only waiting for an adequate opportunity to take action

"Are you... certain?"

Jing Lihua immediately picked up something in his tone. Something akin to disappointment. "You- what were you up to?"

Li Zhiqiang coughed lightly.

Jing Lihua sighed. "Nevermind... Just keep in mind whatever that Su Lanfen is trying to achieve, you must not interfere. Let her do what she pleases."

Zhiqiang didn't understand in the beginning. "Knowing you, you must be planning something wicked." He mused. "But how can I not interfere when they are trying to harm you?" Li Zhiqiang sounded unsatisfied.

Jing Lihua sighed. "Alright. Just hold off a few days... You can do that much for me alright?"

A couple of days later, a group of reporters was gathered at the airport.

"The relationship between Mr. Su and Ms. Su has made quite some headlines in the past few days." One of them commented.

"Well, isn't the motive of this whole trip is to shut people's mouths?"

"It has to be. After all, for the last couple of days, they are getting more attention that some top celebrities in the entertainment world."

Just at that time, right under everyone's cameras, Jing Lihua ascended from the flight. The reporters immediately prepared their equipment. 

However, something was off.

"Wait... Where is Mr. Su?"

"Shouldn't they be coming back together?"

"What is the meaning of this?"

The reporters were astonished but at the same, they quickly changed the headlines to more catching words while taking photos from every possible angle.

Jing Lihua's eyes lingered at the reporters momentarily before she walked into the car. Getting in, she immediately assigned a task to Mei Xiu.

That evening, Tang enterprise PR released a statement that the President had severed her ties with the Su family due to some irreconcilable feud that happened back in the Su family Islands.

Following the statement, the media went into an unbridled frenzy. 

Unbridled because neither Jing Lihua nor Li Zhiqiang tried to suppress anything.

The Su family, after all, was the top tier family in the whole of Beijing. And the Tang Empire was the emerging star in Beijing.

The relationship between Jing Lihua and Su Liwei, even more so, had always been a top of heated gossip among the females of upper circles.

Right at that point, everyone was still wondering what was the 'irreconcilable feud' that Tang Enterprise mentioned. Not a few hours later a fan page of Su Lanfen released a video of her going out to help out Jing Lihua and her rejecting that help.

Netizens were in a frenzy. Articles after articles were written to support Su Lanfen while at the same time demean Jing Lihua. Especially now that she severed her ties with the Su family, people showed no restrain.

Among the chaos, some people mentioned that could that 'irreconcilable feud' that Tang Empire PR mentioned be that the whole scenario was staged to clear Su Lanfen name using Jing Lihua as a scapegoat?

Su Lanfen's competitors gave air to that opinion but amongst all the chaos, it was soon buried down.

eaching the effect she desired, Su Lanfen was ecstatic. Especially after her manager told her that different companies were started to offer her contracts. Not only this new scandal cleared her name, but it also created hype for Su Lanfen.

"I would really like to see the face of that vixen right at this moment. Haha. She must be shaken." Su Lanfen didn't give much mind to Jing Lihua annulling her wedding with Su Liwei. For all that mattered, it was a favorable thing for her. And especially the timing was perfect as it had a more positive effect on Su Lanfen tries to clear her name.

While she was indulging in her victory, Jing Lihua casually scrolled through the news with a small smile.
