Chapter 170: Things have changed

Jing Lihua slid the card. The door to the room opened with a 'clang'.

Jing Lihua was already very tired. After a day of the flight, she just wanted to throw herself on the bed and fall into a deep slumber.

So after getting in, she immediately took off her blazer and threw it over the couch. Only once she had turned on the light, did she notice a figure sitting over the bed.

He chuckled. "Of course, a show. How could I forget..." Trailing off, his eyes became hazed.

A silence ensued. Jing Lihua was unsure what to do. "I should leave. Sorry for the inconvenience."

When she started to walk away, the man sitting on the bed looked up. 

The look in his eyes was totally changed. 

Jing Lihua had just opened the door slightly when from her back, a hand reached out and slammed the door shut. Shocked, she jumped back. "What are you—" When she saw the look in his eyes, she was speechless. "Are you... drunk?"

"Why are you leaving? We are a husband and wife. Isn't it proper if we share a room?"

This Su Liwei was someone who barely took in alcohol. "I will call the kitchen staff to cook some soup for you. Now please step aside and let me leave."

Snapping out of it, she immediately pushed his hand away. "Mr. Su, you decided to get drunk at your own discretion. I did not ask you to. I don't want to deal with your nonsense. Please don't force me to take harsh steps."

However, her words had no effect on the man before her. He leisurely raised his hand that was still bleeding. "At that time... In the garden... Do you remember?"

He said only a few words.

But there were strong memories associated with them.

Jing Lihua immediately recalled what he was referring to.

Eight years ago, after they both got to know each other, they would frequently meet each other in the garden. That place was like their personal dating spot.
