In recent times, Su Liwei had completely cut ties with her, ignoring her constantly.

While that bitch was getting more and more powerful. The rumors had it she even formed an association with the prestigious 'Li' family.

Listening to everyone's assurances, the anxiety in Jing Tian's heart dissipated. Later that day, she thought to herself. "If that is so, I can do what Jiayi-Jie had asked me for."

Some days ago, Su Jiayi had called Jing Tian. She sounded particularly bad-tempered. She had promised Jing Tian a lead role in a new historical romance movie. After all, Su enterprise held a small entertainment corporate.

"President..." Heng Bingwen interjected. "To be able to serve you, it is one way to make up to what I owe you. You do not need to feel like this." 

Especially now that they were family.

Heng Bingwen left these words unsaid.

After all, until now, President hadn't directly talked to him about the issue.

Later Mei Xiu arrived into the office informing Jing Lihua that she had received a call from Su Liwei's personal number.

Jing Lihua took the phone in her hands and placed it against her ears. "Yes...?"

On the other side, the reply didn't come immediately. Instead, it took at least ten seconds before the person spoke.

"Jing Lihua... are you not disturbed by the rumors that had been circulating in the media recently?" A deep voice reverberated. It was mostly emotionless. 

Jing Lihua's lips curled up. "Even if I am so what? I had appeared at Mealor Mansion as you had asked me back in Hong Kong. But I came to learn you were not even in the country. I wasted much precious time of mine and had even endured the humiliation of your Uncle."

Silence.

"These are affecting not only you but also me. There is only one way to resolve this. It's already been a few months to out marriage. I will take you to the Su Islands to make people shut up. Since it benefits us both, I hope you won't have any objections?"

"Of course I won't!" Jing Lihua sighed. "These rumors are indeed causing me a bit of hindrance in my daily life."

"Then... It is decided. We will depart next week." Saying so, the phone was pi

cked out. 

"Told you she would agree. I have already pushed her back into a position of no retreat." Su Jiayi said. A hint of pride appeared on her face.

"You still underestimate her..."

"Brother, aren't you blinded by your love for that woman? You think too highly of her. I didn't instigate the rumors on my own. Instead, I had used Jing Tian to use the work. Even if she investigated, she wouldn't find anything to link with us. She wouldn't... doubt us."

Su Liwei glanced at his sister coldly. 

"I hope so."

Though he said that, he really didn't know if he meant it.
