Chapter 79 Heart attack

“My god! Mo Group no longer corporates with us overnight. What happened?”

The secretary rushed to the president’s office and shouted in terror.

Chen Kaiming who was in an extreme bad mood was angrier.

“What?”

It seemed that Mo Yichen didn’t make a joke and dared to do such things heartlessly.

“President Chen, how do I explain to our customers. Many of them asked about the details.” The secretary trembled with anxious voice.

The secretary was scared to death and called 120 immediately.

This accident got much attention and people all knew that Mo Yichen terminated the contract with Chen’s family.

Li Qinglan was playing mahjong and had no idea about what happened.

“Ms. Li, President Chen was stimulated and had a heart attack. Please come to the hospital soon!”

Li Qinglan was astonished. Her phone and mahjong in her hands dropped.

People around didn’t know what happened but only saw her rushed out of home without changing her slippers.

Li Qinglan trembled with fear, “Chen Kaiming is the backbone of our family. What kind of things could make him like that?”

“Well, I have to inform my daughter as soon as possible.”

Li Qinglan called Chen Qian but no one answered.

“What the hell is she doing?”

The butler looked at Li Qinglan whose eyes were full of tears from the rearview mirror. He knew that Li Qinglan was scared, so he sped up.

Chen Qian was totally drunk at that time and was lying prone on the bar.

Her phone was ringing several times. The waiter patted Chen Qian’s shoulder to wake her up.

“Excuse me, madam.”

Chen Qian was disgruntled for being woken up because she had a headache after hangover.

“There may be something urgent since your phone was ringing many times.” The waiter replied.

Chen Qian sat up quickly and looked at the phone. She thought the call was from Mo Yichen who may worry about her.

“Mom?”

“Why is she calling me?” Chen Qian sat up and cleared her throat to make her voice sound better.

“Mom, what’s up?”

“You finally pick up the phone. What the hell are you doing? Did you drink last night?”

“I…”

“Your father is in the hospital and I even don’t know whether he is dead or alive. Look at you! What are you doing!”

“What?” Chen Qian suddenly awoke from a drunken sleep.

She was in a bad mood and went to the bar where she often went to after she left Gu Yan’s studio.

The loud music would let her forget unhappy things temporarily.

“Mo Yichen is heartless and Gu Yan is self-righteous. But why could she easily get the things which I cherish but never own.” Chen Qian felt unreconciled.

“Sending me the address and I am on my way.” She said to her mother.

Then Chen Qian rushed to the parking lot and drove to the hospital as soon as possible without changing clothes.

Li Qinglan came back and forth at the doorway of the ward and heard that the sound of high heels was coming.

It was Chen Qian who wore a skinny dress with heavy makeup. Li Qinglan could smell the strong wine when Chen Qian went near.

“Your father is going to die! Look at what you do!”

Li Qinglan didn’t care about others and complained to Chen Qian.

“Tell me what happened yesterday?”

“It is Mo Yichen! He suddenly terminated the contract with us and said he must terminate the contract no matter how much the liquidated damages would be!”

“Terminate the contract?” Chen Qian fell into the seat and thought it was unbelievable.

“In order to prevent from tangling with me, Mo Yichen was so heartless!”

“What happened between you and Mo Yichen?” Li Qinglan’s eyes were filled with tears again.

Chen’s company would lose many customers after Mo Yichen terminated the contract. They could hardly imagine the consequence.

Chen Qian sneered and was helpless with her eyes empty.

“Just because I hurt someone whom he cherished most. I didn’t expect that he could do everything for her.”

Chen Qian murmured, ignoring Li Qinglan’s question.

The operating room opened when Li Qinglan was about to make clear about everything.

“Who is with Chen Kaiming?”

“I am his wife. How is he?”

“He was sent to the hospital in time fortunately. Otherwise it will be irretrievable. You should take care of him and do not stimulate him again since he had heart attack.”

The doctor took off the mask tiredly and left.

Chen Kaiming was wheeled out by the nurse and his pale face reminded Chen Qian what he was suffering just now.

Chen Qian grabbed the edge of the operating bed until her father was wheeled into the ICU.

“Qianqian, tell me what happened exactly.”
