Chapter 77 Being not a pushover

The air was heavy in the studio. Chen Qian kicked up a fuss, so no one could concentrate on their work and they all stood outside Gu Yan’s office to see what happened.

In Gu Yan’s eyes, Chen Qian was a crazy woman who couldn’t control herself, so Gu Yan didn’t want to talk to her more.

“Chen Qian, I just want to know why did you bother me again and again since you were more excellent than me? Is it because you are too superior or you are too inferior?”

The staff in the studio discussed with each other since they didn’t expect that quiet and easygoing as Gu Yan was, she should be so hot-tempered and slap Chen Qian heavily.

Chen Qian was more furious than Gu Yan because she never thought that Gu Yan dared to slap her.

“Why can’t I slap you?” Gu Yan said with a frightening expression which was somewhat similar to Mo Yichen.

“This is my studio and you run over to kick up a fuss. Why should I allow you to bully me?”

“It’s so ridiculous!” Chen Qian was about to rush up to slap Gu Yan again, but was stopped by people around.

“Hey, hey, hey. What are you doing?” Chen Qian was angered by others’ action and shouted.

Seeing that Chen Qian was stopped by others, Gu Yan was relieved.

“Gu Yan, don’t be arrogant. You will kneel to beg me sooner or later.” Chen Qian pointed at Gu Yan’s nose and screamed.

Hearing Gu Yan’s command, a group of people dragged Chen Qian out and then the studio was quiet again.

Seeing that Chen Qian was out of sight, Gu Yan fell on the chair and massaged her temples to relax.

Looking outside and then looking at Gu Yan, Yuan Xi carefully handed Gu Yan a cup of hot milk.

“Sister Gu Yan, drink some milk. I never expected that Chen Qian who was always arrogant and well-dressed would be so ill-mannered today. Love can really change a person.”

Gu Yan stared at Yuan Xi who paid much attention to gossips.

Then she said to Yuan Xi, “From now on, all the people who wanted to see me must have my permission. You are responsible for informing others.”

Yuan Xi showed an embarrassed expression and left the office.

The whole studio was quiet again, but Chen Qian’s voice was still echoing in Gu Yan’s mind.

Mo Yichen, the man Gu Yan managed to forget temporarily, occupied her whole mind again.

Looking in the mirror, Gu Yan saw a little blood on her lips. She smiled bitterly, and then wiped it off with a piece of tissue. It hurt a little, but it was a reminder for her.

If Gu Yan wanted to be with Mo Yichen, she would encounter various difficulties. Chen Qian was the first difficulty.

Gu Yan shook her head to stop thinking more and continued to work.

“I heard that Chen Qian went to see Gu Yan and kicked up a fuss in her studio.” Wu Gang said quickly.

“What?” Mo Yichen stood up and was about to go out.

“What is the situation now?” Mo Yichen said as he picked up his coat.

“No, no, no, it’s all right now. It’s too late for you to go now. I heard that Chen Qian humiliated Gu Yan in the studio and they also slapped each other.” Wu Gang stopped Mo Yichen Quickly.
