Chapter 641 More Than Words

“I’m okay. A good rest will be enough for me. Soon I won’t be so busy.”

Jiang Jingcheng realized that it was a close statement, and he had to stop.

“I see. I’ll contact you if I meet difficulties at work.”

Gu Yan checked the clock and saw that it was late, so she said goodbye to Jiang Jingcheng. She needed to go to bed earlier. Was it really that obvious that she was haggard?

After Gu Yan made the phone call, she returned to the room. Mo Yichen was still awake and was tapping on the computer. Gu Yan frowned. He was so busy on the first day of work?

“Still working?”

Gu Yan stood by the door for a long time. Mo Yichen didn’t raise his head at all. However, Gu Yan’s sound finally drew his attention. At this time, he finally realized that Gu Yan had finished her phone call. The time flew so fast.

Mo Yichen nodded. It was too late. He should go to bed, otherwise, Gu Yan would worry about him. Mo Yichen saved the data in the computer and then closed it. He rubbed his eyes and stood up. He had been sitting there for too long.

“Go clean yourself.”

Mo Yichen took some exercise in the room while talking to Gu Yan. Since Gu Yan came back home and brought Mo Xiangyan to bed, she had been talking to Jiang Jingcheng for works. They didn’t realize the time had passed. Gu Yan should take a bath as soon as possible.

“Don’t wait for me, just go to sleep.”

Gu Yan didn’t want Mo Yichen to wait for her. Mo Yichen had better go to bed first while she went to bathe. Mo Yichen must be tired enough today, so he should sleep first.

Mo Yichen nodded, but he still wanted to wait for Gu Yan. He had been working all day long. Now, he finally had his time though it was close to midnight.

Regardless of the works, Mo Yichen went to bed and waited for Gu Yan. Mo Yichen picked up a book on the bedside table and found that it was Mo Xiangyan’s story book which was brought by Mo Xiangyan the last time he came here.

Well, reading a few stories may be able to relax himself. Mo Yichen opened the book, turned to the bookmark, and started to read the story. He had to admit that the book was really interesting, and this childlike interest really made Mo Yichen relaxed.

Mo Yichen had to face a lot of difficulties tomorrow. At this moment, he had to rest. However, he wanted to hold Gu Yan in his arms. Gu Yan was the one who could really settle him down.

Gu Yan took a bath quickly, knowing that she may disturb Mo Yichen if she didn’t. It usually took half an hour. Today, she only used 15 minutes to finish the bath. Gu Yan thought that Mo Yichen was already asleep. So, she took the hairdryer in advance and started blowing her dripping hair in front of the mirror.

Her hair had grown a lot. Since the last time she had her hair cut, it had been so long and she had experienced a lot of things.

Fortunately, Mo Yichen had finally cheered up. He had swept away all the previous depression and started to focus on the company’s affairs again. He was doing everything for himself but not his uncle.

Gu Yan was very happy that Mo Yichen could cheer up. She had always worried about whether Mo Yichen would get out of his depression. Now, it seemed that she didn’t need to worry about it anymore. Mo Yichen was in a better state regardless of the extra fatigue.

But he might feel very fulfilling about all the work.

Anyway, Mo Yichen started to plan in the future. She knew that Mo Yichen would not give up this time, and she only needed to support him.

At the same time, Gu Yan knew that she should do her job well. She didn’t do many things for the studio before. However, she now understood the importance of the studio from another perspective. Gu Yan must master this trump card.

When Gu Yan walked out of the bathroom, she lightened her steps. But she did not expect that Mo Yichen was not asleep yet. He was reading under the light. Suddenly, Gu Yan was touched by the scene.

This was a wonderful moment if they could ignore the bad things.

But now, it seemed pointless thinking more. Both of them needed a good sleep to replenish their energy.

Gu Yan stepped forward to snatch the book from Mo Yichen’s hand. Then, she got into Mo Yichen’s arms. Holding the “little cat” in his arms, Mo Yichen felt relieved. He indulged himself in the body temperature of Gu Yan.

Both of them felt at ease. At this moment, silence was more than any words. They only needed to have a good sleep.

They would have a lot of time to talk to each other in the future.
