Everybody left the boardroom except for Mo Yichen and the new president. A battle would be coming in the room. A few curious people fell behind because they were eager to hear what they would talk about. But both of them didn’t break the ice.

They were waiting for the last person to leave the room.

That person didn’t mind that the directors would laugh at Mo Yichen. But Mo Yichen didn’t want that person to be awkward in front of the company’s directors.

The two people looked at each other, as if they spotted some secrets. Although they didn’t know what would happen next, they both knew it would be a drama.

Gu Yan was burning with anxiety. She was afraid that Mo Yichen did something irreparable impulsively because of some unpleasant words. Thinking of these, Gu Yan quickened her pace.

Finally, she stopped at the door of the boardroom. Mo Yichen and his “uncle” sat on both sides of the long table face to face, talking about something. They were not at loggerheads.

Gu Yan breathed a sigh of relief. They were talking, it was unsuitable for her to come inside, so she stopped at the door to have a clear view of both of them. Besides, the door was widely open. She could hear what they were talking about in the room.
