Chapter 47 A dirty trick

“What? She really undertook decoration projects by herself?” Wen Yunfeng asked.

A man stood in awe of Wen Yunfeng, and reported the news to him.

“Yes, a few friends who work at the decoration industry often meet her. It seems that she has a brisk business.”

“Well…She really changed a lot and I can hardly imagine.” Wen Yunfeng murmured. He narrowed his eyes and got an idea.

It happened that the phone lit up suddenly and a woman’s name was displayed.

Wen Yunfeng grinned mischievously, picked up the phone and then went out. The man beside Wen Yunfeng breathed a sigh of relief.

In front of a palatial hotel, Wen Yunfeng made a car drift and parked, making a noise which grabbed people’s attention.

The door was opened after a while. Wen Yunfeng got off first. He wore his sun glasses and walked to another side. Then he held out his hand like a gentleman and waited for the woman in the car to get off.

The woman felt that she was a princess when such a gentleman stood in front of her. She offered hands with raised chin and got off slowly.

The woman was Yang Qingning, the most graceful female interior designer in mainland. Talented as she was, she admired Wen Yunfeng.

They walked into the hotel intimately and got much attention.

Gu Yan was sitting at the office and frowned.

“Come on, what’s up? Who makes you so angry?” Manla came in with lots of snacks.

Gu Yan looked at Manla and forced a smile.

“I just got a message that a project was given to another person. But the customer didn’t explain when I asked for the reason.”

Gu Yan took over the coffee prepared by Manla and explained to her.

Manla sneered and got a clue based on her experience.

“It seems that someone wants to have a finger in the pie.”

“What?”

“It is unbelievable. I am a beginner in this industry who have seldom orders. It is unreasonable that I offend others.” Gu Yan thought.

“But nobody will refuse a designer who already finished four projects.” Manla said.

“Well…What should I do?” Gu Yan put her cup down and looked at Manla emotionally.

“Bring it back! You did nothing wrong and why should they treat you like that?” Manla was very angry.

Gu Yan was silent and she was hesitant to look at Manla straight.

Gu Yan had been protected by her parents and Wen Yunfeng since she was a little girl. For now, she already took remarkable courage to start her own business and she really have no idea about this matter.

“Come on, you don’t have another choice. I will accompany you if you are scared. It’s not a big deal…”

“Okay, I will do it!”

Gu Yan interrupted Manla with firmness and brightness in her eyes.

Then she begun to clear up the related materials.

Manla was shocked by Gu Yan. When she was about to warn Gu Yan, Gu Yan already left the office.

Manla was pleased to see Gu Yan’s thin but powerful back. “She finally became an independent woman.”

“Hello, is Yang Qingning here?” Gu Yan asked with a polite smile.

“Sorry, do you have an appointment?”

“No.”

Then the receptionist gave a call and showed a hesitating look. But she recovered instantly and hung up.

“Sorry, Miss Gu. I am afraid that Miss Yang has no time to meet you. She is about to go outside. Maybe I can make an appointment for you.” The receptionist pretended that nothing had happened.

“I have something really important to talk with her and I will only take her ten minutes, Please!” Gu Yan was worried and anxious.

“I am really sorry, Miss Gu. Miss Yang was just left and you can take a look at parking lot if you are in doubt.” The receptionist had no idea.

Gu Yan saw a woman with a graceful figure was going into the elevator.

“Thank you.” Gu Yan rushed to the parking lot with her things.

She rushed into the elevator and pressed a row of buttons hastily. Her rude behavior drew attention from people around.

Gu Yan had no time to think about it and only pay attention to the woman who was in a red dress and went further away. “I must catch up with her to retake my project.”

Thinking of this, Gu Yan mended her pace.

Gu Yan was about to caught Yang Qingning up.

However, a familiar figure appeared suddenly.

That man was…Wen Yunfeng!

Gu Yan quickly hid herself behind the car.

She couldn’t help looking at these two people.

Wen Yunfeng smiled and circled Yang Qingning’s waist. Yang Qingning pushed him artificially and then both of them got in the car.

Gu Yan walked out after the car disappeared.

“What is going on? Was Wen Yunfeng doing these dirty tricks after he knew my secret?”

Gu Yan’s heart sank. She thought what happened just now over and over again. “They did something wrong, but why should I hide myself?”

The materials in her hands dropped. Gu Yan felt really helpless.
