“Why is she still staying with me and endured what I did to her since she could be with Mo Yichen?”

Wen Yunfeng felt confused about these things and wanted to be calm when he went back home.

But his grandma didn’t let him go.

“Yunfeng, you should divorce Gu Yan since Mo Group put forward the requirement. That son of bitch has got hooked up with other men. Why are you hesitating? There are other fish in the sea. Do you remember my friend’s daughter you have met last time? You should marry that kind of girls.” Grandma Wen thought Wen Yunfeng still loved Gu Yan because he kept silent after leaving Mo Group.

“You are so stupid! I have known that Gu Yan was a skittish woman and didn’t have a good-luck face at all. Why does Mo Yichen like her?” Grandma Wen felt confused.

“You should think about it. If you act against Mo Group, what about the future of our company?” Grandma Wen tried to persuade him from the perspective of career. She thought that career was the most important thing for men.

Wen Yunfeng could understand what she said and he just wanted to give Gu Yan a hard time. He knew that his grandma promised to Mo Yichen for his sake, but he couldn’t forgive Gu Yan.

“Grandma, I am a loser, aren’t I?” Wen Yunfeng said it unexpectedly.

“Yunfeng, why do you say that?” Was it because of Gu Yan?

“Then why would she betray me?” “Was it because of me? Why did she hurt me?” He thought.

“I have known she was a curse of my family. I disagreed with your grandfather when he wanted to take her back. But your grandfather insisted. She was a bad karma and brought bad luck to our family. Even she did dare to seduce other men. I really don’t understand why are you still with her? You’d better divorce her as soon as possible so that she cannot tarnish our family image.” Grandma Wen became very angry when she talked about Gu Yan.

“How are you?” Manla looked at Gu Yan, and shook her head.

“You have to find a way to let Wen Yunfeng divorce you and then start a new life.” Manla showed a way to Gu Yan after seeing she was so depressed.

“What should I do?” Gu Yan didn’t understand why Wen Yunfeng refused to divorce her since he hated her so much. What the hell did he want?

“How about telling him the truth about two years ago?” Wen Yunfeng always thought Gu Yan betrayed him, but she didn’t.

“No, I have signed the confidentiality agreement.” Gu Yan couldn’t help to tell him the truth for several times, but she was restricted by the content of the agreement.

“Does it mean we have no solution? God, help us!”

“Although I told him the things happened two years ago, the rift between us still cannot be mended.” Thanks to these things, Gu Yan knew clearly about Wen Yunfeng.

“He should feel sorry to hurt you.” Manla said uncertainly.

“I don’t care. We were childhood sweetheart but he doesn’t believe me at all. I will forget him since our feelings are gone.” Gu Yan was disheartened and had no affection to Wen Yunfeng. She had suffered enough in the past two years. Her eyes were filled with tears when speaking of that.

“Alright…” Manla sat down. She knew that Gu Yan had been wronged in her marriage.

“Forget about it. I may need your help, Manla.” Gu Yan gave Manla an appealing look.

“Don’t worry. I will keep my eyes open for the job. Do not eat instant noodles anymore. Let’s eat out and take a walk outside!” Manla said graciously.

“Well, wait a moment, I am going to change.” Gu Yan went to the bathroom.

Manla looked at this tiny house and sighed.

Gu Yan had lived in the big house of Wen’s family since she was a child. Now she can only live in this small rented house. Manla felt distressed for Gu Yan’s situation. But she thought carefully, “the property of Wen’s family has nothing to do with Gu Yan. Although she lived comfortably but they treated her like an outsider. Manla looked Gu Yan going out from the bathroom and hoped she would lead a new life since then. “I hope you will find your true love and do not be hurt once again.” Manla thought.

When Gu Yan and Manla walked around, Gu Yan got a message from Wen Yunfeng, “Come to me tomorrow and I will divorce you.”
