Chapter 182 Evil backstage manipulator

Mo Yichen looked at the view of Gu Yan’s back. He didn’t know what happened to her studio. “Who dare to play dirty tricks regardless of my face?” Mo Yichen thought.

Gu Yan was depressed but forced herself to play with Xiangyan all day. Thinking of that, Mo Yichen was distressed.

“Wu Gang, find out what happened to Gu Yan’s studio as soon as possible.” Mo Yichen said with a cold voice, “I want to know the manipulator’s identity and reason.”

“Got it, boss.” Wu Gang hung up. He smiled and adjusted the tie. He looked interested. “Since boss met Gu Yan, I was busy with not only my work but also boss’s love life. It’s hard to be a competent secretary.” Wu Gang sighed with emotion. He was looking forward that they could get together soon.

After calling, Mo Yichen breathed a sigh of relief. He turned his neck and stretched his arms for relaxing. His arms were numb since Gu Yan leaned him and had a sweet dream last night. He couldn’t move a little since didn’t want to wake them up. He wanted to enjoy the family time. Although he got the body hurt, it was worth to do it. However, that warm family time only sustained one night.

Mo Yichen felt better after relaxing.

He looked at Xiangyan who was staring at him with his big eyes. Xiangyan didn’t cry or make a noise. It seemed that he knew daddy was tired and didn’t want to bother him. What a good kid he was.

“Xiangyan, I will take you home and get something to eat.” He said gently and kissed Xiangyan’s forehead.

“Uh-huh…” Xiangyan naively yelled, “Yeah. Go home…”

Gu Yan was tired and even staggered. She finally arrived home and went to sleep immediately. She didn’t sleep well last night. It was uncomfortable to sleep on Mo Yichen’s shoulder.

When it’s dusk, Gu Yan woke up. She was logy for a while and then came to her sense.

Outside the window, the wind blew. The curtains swayed, and the window rattled.

Gu Yan got out of bed and was about to close the window. Suddenly, she found a shadow in the living room. She was scared and shouted. She hid herself behind the curtains and looked at the situation carefully.

The living room was dim. That terrifying shadow walked over to Gu Yan.

“Click.”

The light dazzled Manla. She stopped her action and rubbed her eyes. Then she looked at Gu Yan with an awkward smile.

Gu Yan found both funny and annoying when she saw Manla. She came out and wanted to teach her a lesson since Manla made a prank.

Two girls chased each other and laughed.

Gu Yan was exhausted and surrendered. “No… Let’s stop…” Then she lay on the sofa and gasped loudly.

Manla stopped and sat beside Gu Yan.

They shared the fruit on the table.

“How did you come in?” Gu Yan just remembered and was astonished. She didn’t open the door at all.

“Come on, careless girl. You didn’t close the door, did you?”

“I came to your home in the morning and wanted to go shopping with you. When I got here, I found that your door was opening. I thought that there was a thief. However, your home was tidy when I came in. Then I found that you were fast asleep in your bed.”

“I don’t want to bother you. So, I wait you until now.”

Manla talked about the situation and suddenly put down the fruit. She turned round and looked at Gu Yan seriously.

“Tell me what happened yesterday.”

Manla was curious which made Gu Yan was stunned.

“I talked seldom with Mo Yichen yesterday. I played with Xiangyan for a day and was happy.” Gu Yan said about yesterday. Then she suddenly remembered the matter of the studio and was in bad mood.

Manla thought that Mo Yichen made Gu Yan be upset yesterday. Manla was angry and blamed him. “Mo Yichen you stupid. What are you waiting for? You should have initiative.”

Gu Yan explained to Manla since she misunderstood Mo Yichen. “It’s not his fault. There was something happened in my studio. Many companies terminated the contract without any reason. I was in a bad mood about it.”

Then Gu Yan told Manla about what happened in the studio and what she did with Mo Yichen yesterday.

Manla nodded. “Got it. Who is the manipulator?”

Both of them were in deep thought…

“President Mo, I got it.” Wu Gang knocked on the door and went into Mo Yichen’s office.

“Tell me everything.” Mo Yichen was serious.

“It was Mrs. Li, your mother. She thought you were cheated by Gu Yan after hearing from someone. She knew that you took part in the opening ceremony of the studio and introduce the business to Gu Yan. She threatened these companies not to corporate with Gu Yan’s studio unless they want to go into liquidation.” Wu Gang told Mo Yichen every detail. Also, he was worried about Mo Yichen who had a huge gap with Gu Yan.

Mo Yichen was more anxious when he heard about it. He couldn’t be angry with his mom and didn’t have confidence to oppose her. What should he do?

“Shall I tell her reasonably that Gu Yan was Xiangyan’s biological mother? Or tell her that I will not marry anyone except Gu Yan.” Mo Yichen thought. All kinds of methods were not appropriate. He was annoyed.

Chen Qian heard about what happened about Gu Yan’s studio. She was amazed about Mo Yichen’s mom. On the other hand, she was happy for herself who could almost be with Mo Yichen.

It was a dark night. Chen Qian drunk the wine and looked at outside. She held the trump card.
