Chapter 173 Wu Gang encountered Manla

The man’s miserable scream came from the ward. Nobody knew what happened. Anyway, the man in black was tortured violently.

It was at night when Wu Gang arrived at Lin’an City. So, he decided to visit Mo Yichen’s mother the next day. After a while, he encountered a drunk girl near the entrance of Mo Yichen’s community. Wu Gang was quite curious, so he walked to the girl.

“Hello, give you some paper napkins.” Wu Gang said politely.

The girl was still vomiting. She threw the paper napkins away.

“I don’t need your sympathy. I don’t need a stranger to pity me.” Manla shouted.

“I really can’t understand why you are so ungrateful. Do you think I am willing to help you? I just think that it is not safe for a girl to stay outside at night.” Then Wu Gang was about to leave.

The girl turned around and almost fell over. Fortunately, she held Wu Gang’s clothes in time. Then they fell over together.

“My god! Stand up! My poor waist!” Wu Gang struggled to pull the girl to her feet.

The girl was Manla. But Wu Gang didn’t know her because he never saw Manla before.

“Can you send me home?” Manla asked suddenly.

“You are so bold to ask a stranger to send you home.” Wu Gang said with a contemptuous expression.

“I am not that kind of girl. You are so shameless.” Then Manla slapped Wu Gang directly, which made Wu Gang step back. He was startled.

“Why did you slap me? Even my mother doesn’t slap me. You…you mistake me for a bad one.” Then Wu Gang walked away angrily.

When Wu Gang walked halfway, he returned to find that Manla was asleep by the roadside. “It is really unbelievable!” Wu Gang thought. He looked around and found that there were monitors around. “If she has something wrong, the police must enquire of me.” Thinking of this, Wu Gang walked towards Manla.

“Do I send you home? If I send you home, you did slap me. But if I don’t send you, you aren’t safe here.” Looking at the drunk Manla, Wu Gang decided to take her home temporarily.

Wu Gang struggled to drag Manla to her feet and then stopped a taxi. After getting on the taxi, Wu Gang held her up quickly. On the way, the driver glanced at Wu Gang frequently as if he was a bad person.

“She is my elder sister. She is drunk at the bar, so I have to take her home.” Wu Gang explained because he saw the driver’s doubt in his eyes. The driver smiled.

They arrived at Wu Gang’s community soon. It took Wu Gang a lot of effort to carry Manla to his home.

“Hey, you are so lucky. You are the first girl I carry. I don’t know your name. My name is Wu Gang. If you want to thank me, you should remember my name.” Then Wu Gang went into the bathroom to take a shower.

After changing his clothes, Wu Gang returned to the living room. Suddenly, he remembered that he took a girl home. “How should I do?” Wu Gang thought.

“I just let you stay here tonight. You’d better go away early next morning.” Then he put Manla to his bed and was about to take another quilt to sleep on the sofa. However, Manla hugged Wu Gang’s neck tightly the moment Wu Gang put her on his bed.

“Don’t touch me!” Wu Gang tried best to break away from Manla but failed. Finally, Manla put her leg on Wu Gang’s body. Wu Gang happened to touch Manla’s leg. Then Wu Gang didn’t dare to move at all.

“What do you…you want to do?” Wu Gang was really helpless. He was still hugged tightly by Manla at midnight. He was so sleepy that he slept on the bed with Manla.

They stayed together until the next morning.

Manla woke up earlier than Wu Gang. Seeing that a man slept beside her, Manla doubted if she did something she shouldn’t. So, she uncovered the quilt quickly.

Seeing that her clothes were neat, Manla was relieved but she didn’t understand why the man put his hand on her waist.

Then Manla kicked Wu Gang to the other side of the bed. Wu Gang woke up in a scare and picked himself up quickly.

“What are you doing?” Wu Gang massaged his elbow.

“I want to ask why you put your hand on my waist.” Manla refuted.

“You are really funny! This is my home. I wanted you to sleep on my bed and I slept on the sofa, but you held me tightly. Now, you woke up and kicked me. You wandered around last night. I was about to send you home but you slapped me. I have never seen such a girl like you!” Wu Gang said angrily.

“Can I believe what you said?” Manla asked.

“Well, you can leave now. I won’t keep you here. If you feel uncomfortable, you can go to the hospital to check if I bullied you yesterday. I am not interested in you.” Then Wu Gang walked out.

Manla dressed herself up and came to the living room.

“If you are fine, you can go now. The door is on the right.” Then Wu Gang sat on the sofa and played his phone.

“Where is my bag?” Manla didn’t know that she troubled him so much. She didn’t find her bag in the bedroom, so she came out. Otherwise, she was embarrassed to come to the living room.

“I believe that you did nothing. Thank you for taking me home last night. Otherwise, I might sleep in the street.” Then Manla sat on the other side of the sofa.

“What can I do for you?” Manla wanted to compensate Wu Gang but she didn’t know what she should do.

“Nothing! Leave my house right now.” Then Wu Gang went to the kitchen to prepare something to eat. Manla didn’t leave but waited in the living room. Maybe she waited for the breakfast.

After a short while, Manla heard Wu Gang’s scream in the kitchen. She knew that the egg was burnt because she smelt it just now.

“I know what I should do.” Then Manla went to the kitchen.

“Why are you still here? Did I tell you that the door is on the right?” Seeing that Manla came in, Wu Gang was a little uneasy.

“I will do the breakfast for you. You can regard it as my apology to you.” Then Manla took out four eggs from the refrigerator and began doing sandwiches.
