Chapter 133 An annoying day

Mo Yichen was deep in thought after getting home. Lying on the bed, he couldn’t sleep. The image that Gu Yan and Wen Yunfeng walked out of the door tonight lingered in his mind. Although Wen Yunfeng just opened the car door for Gu Yan, Mo Yichen felt sad.

“Oh. Why I can’t sleep tonight? Why do I think so much? She has nothing to do with me! Sleep!” Mo Yichen complained.

Mo Yichen never thought that he would have not slept all night and feel so sad because of a woman.

“President, did you sleep well last night?” Looking at Mo Yichen who was really tired, Wu Gang asked after making breakfast.

“Why do you think that I didn’t sleep well? You believe that I cannot sleep well?” Mo Yichen said but suddenly yawned. Wu Gang refrained from laughing at him.

“Well! Tell me today’s schedule.”

Mo Yichen liked to listen to the news while eating, because it was more efficient.

“You have to attend a small meeting in the morning, and then sign the contract with President Zhen. In the afternoon, you need to check some documents, and nothing else.” Wu Gang said slowly.

“That means we don’t have special arrangement today.” Mo Yichen said.

“Yeah.” Wu Gang sat down to eat.

“Good! Try to arrange the work in advance. I will go to the hospital early in the afternoon.” Mo Yichen said thoughtfully.

“Okay.”

Mo Yichen still didn’t understand why Gu Yan walked with Wen Yunfeng last night. He thought, “Maybe Gu Yan hadn’t given up the affection between her and Wen Yunfeng. It seems that they are reconciled.” Mo Yichen thought with a sinister smile.

“President, are you okay?” Wu Gang had observed Mo Yichen for a long time. Mo Yichen had been chewing on ham bread that he did not like, and showed a malicious smile, which made Wu Gang very surprised.

“Are you okay?” Mo Yichen responded by asking.

“I’m fine, and I am glad that you are fine.” Wu Gang replied immediately.

“Did Miss Gu Yan show you the design?” Wu Gang mentioned someone that Mo Yichen did not want to talk about, which made Mo Yichen angrier.

“How could I know? Didn’t you see that Gu Yan was dating someone else?” Mo Yichen finally lost his temper.

“Why are you angry with me? I just care about the design. Obviously, you are jealous. Come on! Boss!” Wu Gang took a mouthful of bread, drank a mouthful of milk, and then left.

At the same time, Gu Yan went out. Today was Friday, the last day of this week. Feeling refreshed, Gu Yan got on the bus to her studio.

The scenery was beautiful along the way. It was noisy but full of life. Gu Yan didn’t want to be far away from here, because there were two people whom she cared about, her grandma and her son that she had just known recently.

“We’re now at Wuhu Road. Please get ready to alight.” The bus reported.

Entering into the studio, Gu Yan got a glass of water and said hello to everyone, and then walked into her office. After watering the potted plants, she turned on the computer to browse today’s news.

In Gu Yan’s view, the workplace was where you have to experience. But she didn’t like this fast-paced life with a lot of pressure. She wanted to live her life in peace. However, it seemed that she had got used to this fast-paced life.

Gu Yan appreciated the flowers on the potted plants that had just sprouted. She felt that being a single lady was not bad actually.

“Sister Gu Yan! I got a piece of big news.” Xiao Ling rushed into Gu Yan’s office, which scared Gu Yan.

“What’s wrong?”

“I just counted up the orders we received this month. Guess how many?” Xiao Ling looked excited.

“Well, tell me. I have no idea about it.” Gu Yan wanted to know whether the money she earned could pay her grandmother’s medical fee.

“We got 58 orders! Are you happy? Sister Gu Yan, we have achieved some fame now. Those who earn high salary want to decorate their houses sophisticatedly. So, we can expand through investors.”

Gu Yan was in a daze, and she didn’t know who was the first person she wanted to tell about the good news. Xiao Han? Manla? Or Mo Yichen?

“Sister Gu Yan, what’s wrong with you? Aren’t you happy?” Xiao Ling was confused.

“Good job! We try to get 100 orders next month. I’m just a designer. Our success is thanks to your good jobs. I’ll invite all of you to dinner. Hmmm…What about this Sunday? Let’s celebrate it.”

“Really? Sister Gu Yan, you are so nice! I will tell others. Well, I’m leaving.” Xiao Ling ran out happily, and Gu Yan shook her head helplessly.

“I hope that Wen Yunfeng will understand that I can live a wonderful life without him.” Gu Yan opened the last design on the desk. She wanted to design the toys in the colorful decoration.

Looking at the design, Gu Yan smiled with satisfaction and thought, “I need to write a few words.”

Gu Yan worried that going out with Wen Yunfeng last night would affect the design. She could have finished it and gave it to Mo Yichen last night. But she went out with Wen Yunfeng. Until now, Mo Yichen hadn’t call her except for the phone call yesterday.

“When dose he come here? Oh! Why I miss him? I am silly.” Gu Yan was shy.

Then she continued to design.

Mo Yichen attended the meeting absently, while Gu Yan prepared her design slowly. Both of them were missing each other.
