Chapter 126 Inconsolable

Mo Yichen ate quickly without any words because he didn’t want to stay one more second.

Chen Qian was embarrassed since she was totally ignored. She couldn’t say anything but only saw Mo Yichen many times, wondering why she was refused thoroughly.

Chen Qian held back the tears in her eyes and thought, “I can’t cry out. It’s disgraced. I am a princess and the pride of my father.”

“I am done. Enjoy yourself! I am going to take a nap with Xiangyan. I have an important meeting this afternoon. Please don’t bother me if there’s nothing important.” Then Mo Yichen went upstairs.

Chen Qian couldn’t help crying after Mo Yichen went upstairs.

Li Yunhong worried about Chen Qian and was about to talk to Mo Yichen.

“Chen Qian, don’t cry. I will tell Mo Yichen to apologize to you.” She comforted Chen Qian.

“It’s OK, Auntie. Brother Yichen cannot accept me now. But I will try to be the best one to marry him.” Chen Qian cried and her affectation gained Li Yunhong’s sympathy.

“Poor Chen Qian!” Li Yunhong was angry at her son. Then she walked to Mo Yichen and pulled him up, which almost bothered Xiangyan.

“Come on now! Be quiet and don’t bother my grandson.”

“What’s the matter? I am sleeping!” Mo Yichen complained.

“Come on, you never take a nap since you are a child. You must comfort Chen Qian. She is very sad!” Hearing Li Yunhong’s words, Mo Yichen had to go downstairs.

Chen Qian begun to cry hypocritically when she heard the conversation between Li Yunhong and Mo Yichen, and then wiped the tears when Mo Yichen went downstairs.

“Come on, she is waiting for you!” Li Yunhong pulled Mo Yichen.

“Alright. Don’t pull me. This is a new shirt.” Mo Yichen was a little angry. He moved out since his mother often forced him to do things he disliked.

“Chen Qian! Come on and have a talk with Yichen.” Li Yunhong went upstairs to look after Xiangyan and let all servants left.

There were only Chen Qian and Mo Yichen in the living room. They never talked with each other like this. So, the atmosphere was very embarrassed.

Chen Qian looked pathetic.

“You…” Mo Yichen had intended to comfort her but was interrupted. He really disliked being interrupted.

“Alright, I’m fine.” Chen Qian interrupted him, which angered Mo Yichen. In fact, Chen Qian wished that Mo Yichen could say something or even an apology, but he did not.

“I just want to say that don’t pretend to be pathetic since my mom is not here. You do very well and gains sympathy from my mom.” Mo Yichen mocked her without any dirty words.

“Why do you hate me so much?” Chen Qian thought she had done many things for him which she wouldn’t try before.

“Come on! Save it. I know you.” Mo Yichen sneered.

“Yichen, you know that I really love you. All things I did are for you.” Chen Qian hugged Mo Yichen from behind, which made Mo Yichen a little dizzy because her perfume was too strong.

“Well, Chen Qian, I just take you as my sister. Don’t make us only be strangers one day.” Mo Yichen thought he couldn’t explain clearly to Chen Qian.

“But you said that you would marry me when we were young.” Chen Qian couldn’t help crying.

“It was a joke of a child. Forget it.” Mo Yichen pushed Chen Qian away and wanted to leave.

“But I take it seriously.” Chen Qian hoped that Mo Yichen could come back to her.

“I am sorry for your misunderstanding and I will make up to you. But I cannot marry a woman whom I don’t love.” Mo Yichen said and then left.

There was only Chen Qian, seeing the man she loved went away. Li Yunhong wanted to come out and said something but she stopped due to what happened to Chen’s family the last time. She couldn’t force her son to do the things which he disliked.

Mo Yichen went to work and wanted to talk to Gu Yan. She was the only one that could comfort him. But he didn’t do that.

“Wu Gang, prepare the materials and the meeting in the afternoon. I will work overtime, and you can go back first.”

“Boss, what happened to you?” Wu Gang asked.

“You know that I am unhappy every time when I come back from home. Why are you still here?” Mo Yichen was so angry that he wanted to beat Wu Gang.

“Fine. I will handle it.” Wu Gang left helplessly.

“Boss, Liang Shaohun said that you haven’t seen each other for long time and you should entertain him.” Wu Gang added.

“I know. He is so closefisted.” Mo Yichen replied.

Chen Qian locked herself in the room and didn’t open the door until night after going back from Mo’s Mansion. Li Qinglan knew that Chen Qian must be bullied. But she was in a hurry to play mahjong. Also, she got used to Chen Qian’s reaction.

“I only wear it for once, Qianqian! Oh, what happened?” Li Qinglan was worried.

“Oh! My friend is calling me. I will talk to you later. Mo Yichen is so heartless. I will teach him a lesson.” Li Qinglan patted Chen Qian’s shoulder and then went downstairs quickly.

“See you, Qianqian.”

Chen Qian did not respond and only gazed at the ceiling and thought about Mo Yichen’s words.

Li Qinglan wore a coat of Chen Qian and left.
