“We shouldn’t be so modest because we helped each other.” Xiao Han smiled.

“I heard that you had finished your project and now you should…” Gu Yan was a little sad.

“I won’t leave for the time being. I will get another project here and then publicize for you.” Xiao Han took a sip of coffee.

After saying goodbye to Xiao Han, Gu Yan called Mo Yichen quickly, but Mo Yichen didn’t answer her phone. Gu Yan was concerned that she might anger Mo Yichen because he was a man of his word.

On rushing back to her studio, Gu Yan looked around.

“Are you looking for Mo Yichen?” She asked.

“Yeah!” Gu Yan answered casually.

“He left just now.” Xiao Ling said calmly.

“Eek… When do you come here?” Gu Yan got a fright when suddenly finding that Xiao Ling was close to her.

“I’m here just now. I just wanted to know what you were looking for.”

“Did he come here?” Gu Yan asked.

“Who?” Xiao Ling snickered.

“You know who I am saying.” Gu Yan was a little embarrassed.

“Yes! President Mo came here just now, but he was very angry while leaving. I think…” Xiao Ling wanted to say more, but Gu Yan rushed out.

“If someone calls me, tell them that I’m out!” Then Gu Yan ran away.

“Do you have the appointment card?” Two security guards stopped Gu Yan at the entrance of the building.

“I… I don’t have. But your president asked me to come here and he called me personally.” Hearing Gu Yan’s explanation, the two security guards sneered.

“Many people want to see our president, but only those who had the appointment card can come in. Please abide by our rules.” They stopped Gu Yan.

“I never expected to have any relations with your president who has a high social status. I was really invited by him.” Gu Yan was a little impatient.

“Sorry! We are just under orders.” Security guards said coldly.

“I was really invited by your president!” Gu Yan was a little anxious now and thought that the guards were too strict.

“Wait! She is really invited by President Mo. Let her in.” Wu Gang appeared just in time. Gu Yan was relieved now.

Hearing Wu Gang’s words, the guards let Gu Yan in.

“Let’s go, Miss Gu. President Mo is waiting for you. Why do you come so late?” Wu Gang said impatiently.

“Must your president see someone at the time he prescribes?” Gu Yan thought Mo Yichen was a little arrogant.

“I know that it is difficult to see your president. Were the security guards afraid that Mo Yichen would be hurt by others?” Gu Yan walked while complaining.

Mo Yichen’s office was so spacious that Gu Yan didn’t see Mo Yichen until she turned a corner. She wondered how Mo Yichen, a young man, stayed in the boring office the whole day.

“You are coming!” Mo Yichen said coldly.

“Oh, I am coming.” Seeing that the office was decorated in white and black only, Gu Yan snickered. The decoration style was really in line with Mo Yichen who was hard to get along with.

“Why do you want to see me?” Gu Yan asked directly.

“Why did you stand me up?” Mo Yichen retorted.

“President Mo, I have my own job, so I can’t…” Gu Yan stopped because she thought suddenly that she should know first why Mo Yichen wanted to see her.

“Any way, I have my own business, so I can’t be on call at all times.” Gu Yan said and turned her head away. She didn’t dare to see Mo Yichen because she knew Mo Yichen was bound to be angry after hearing her words.

However, Mo Yichen looked at Gu Yan quietly without saying anything and then walked to the tea table to prepare tea.

“Come and have some tea, or the tea will be cold.”

“No, thanks.” Gu Yan refused directly.
