Uninvited Guest

As the mother and daughter chatted, Qin Tianhao sat at the side and looked at his phone. As usual, he did not have a strong presence in the room.

At this moment, Qin Likun also came down. He glanced at the three people on the sofa and was about to ask why Qin Jianxi hadn’t come down yet.

Just then, a maid walked in and said, “Sir, Madam, Mrs. Han and Young Master Han are here.”

The family of four was stunned. Why did the Han family come so early in the morning?

Qin Likun was the first to regain his senses. He said, “Quickly let them in.”

“Yes, sir.” The maid walked out.

Qin Likun and Zhu Jing looked at each other. The two of them were not sure if the Han family’s mother and son were here to question them or whether it was for something else.

The couple didn’t think too much about it and quickly went to welcome them.

The Han mother and son entered the living room before they could leave.

Qin Jianfei and Qin Tianhao stood up when they saw them.

Qin Likun smiled and greeted Mrs. Han, “Mrs. Han, you’re here. I was planning to bring my unfilial daughter to the Han family to apologize.”

Zhu Jing also nodded her head in a hurry and added, “Yes, we were just about to go. We didn’t expect you to come.”

Mrs. Han glanced at the couple and snorted softly. Then, she said indifferently, “Don’t. Our Han family can’t afford to accept your attempts to make amends. Oh right, what about Qin Jianxi? Where is she?”

When she thought about how her son was stepped on and beaten by Qin Jianxi yesterday, she couldn’t help but feel angry. This child of the Qin family was really not raised properly.

She even dared to beat up her own fiancé in front of so many people. This time, the Han family was completely humiliated because of Qin Jianxi.

“Hurry up and call the young miss down,” Zhu Jing quickly said to the maid beside her.

The maid was about to call for her when she saw Qin Jianxi come down. She said, “The miss is here.”

The people standing in the living room heard this and looked up one after another.

Madam Han looked at the girl who came down and finally felt that Qin Jianxi was different… It was a change in her temperament. She was no longer the doormat she used to be. Instead, she carried herself with an air of laziness.

On the other hand, Han Xu felt that the lazy way Qin Jianxi was carrying herself… she looked really good.

He knew that Qin Jianxi was pretty, but this was the first time he felt that she was charming. Then, the scene of him being beaten up yesterday by her appeared in his mind, and his expression immediately turned ugly.

He actually thought that this vicious woman was charming. It must be because he didn’t have breakfast early in the morning and so his eyes weren’t working properly.

Zhu Jing smiled and replied, “Xixi, come down quickly. Auntie Han and Han Xu are here.”

Qin Jianxi’s gaze fell on Han Xu and the noble-looking woman beside him.

She immediately knew that with the arrival of these two people, the plan she had discussed with Qin Likun last night was probably going to be ruined.

She walked down with a blank expression.

When she arrived in front of them, she looked at the Han mother and son. She asked, “What are you here for? I’ve already told Elder Han everything I needed to say yesterday.”

She meant that there was nothing else to say.

Qin Likun was truly angered by her words. “Qin Jianxi, what kind of attitude is this?”
