Chapter 57: You’re Jealous Of Me

Sheng Yang glanced at her. She had a good memory and she clearly remembered that Fang Duo was a big fan of Ming Qi and even said that she would bow down to whoever could introduce Ming Qi to her.

Why did she suddenly change?

After the person left, Sheng Yang cupped her cheek in her hand and looked at Fang Duo quietly. “Why? You don’t like Ming Qi anymore?”

Fang Duo sniffed. “How’s that possible? He will always be my Prince Charming, but… I don’t like Sheng Yue. I always get the feeling that she tries to outshine you. Compared to Ming Qi, I like you more.”

Yeah, she just liked a beautiful and nice person like Sheng Yang.

Sheng Yang’s heart welled up with a feeling that she had never had before.

She couldn’t help taking out her phone, lowering her head, and gently typing a line on the screen. “Are you available tonight?”

She got a reply almost instantly after it was sent. “Sure, I happen to have something to tell you.”

Ming Qi couldn’t wait to tell her what he had done for her. He lay on a recliner and almost burst into laughter whenever he thought about it.

“Okay, see you tonight at my school gates. Keep a low profile.”

A smile appeared on Ming Qi’s face. Little Sheng Yang hadn’t contacted him for a long time and she didn’t want him to take the initiative to go to her either lest it would cause too much commotion.

The more he looked at these text messages, the happier he got. Too excited to sit still on his recliner, he alternated standing up and sitting down from time to time.

Then after thinking about it, he cracked a wicked smile. He planned to share these messages with that man to take pleasure in his suffering.

The phone rang for a long time before it was picked up. A man’s grumpy voice rang on the phone. “Don’t you know I’m in Los Angeles and was up late last night? I just fell asleep with the help of some vodka!”

“So what?” Ming Qi’s ever-cold face was now filled with gloating pleasure. He lay on the recliner again, crossing his two long legs. “Sheng Yang just texted me, saying that she wants to meet me.”

The other side suddenly fell silent, and after a long time, the man said unhappily, “So what?”

“So admit it. I’m the most important person in her mind.” Who would’ve thought that the miracle-working doctor and the business legend who dominated the stock market would quarrel with each other for a little girl like two little boys? Ming Qi said slowly, “You know what? I saw my code on her phone was 1. This proves that I’m unique.”

“Yes, only in your dreams.” The other man hung up the phone irritably.

Ming Qi rubbed his chin, stared at the black screen, and said to himself, “You’re jealous of me.”

Then he stood up and glanced at his watch. It was still early but he was going to prepare for the meeting tonight.

Fang Duo’s eyes shone brightly. “Yangyang, do you want to hang out with me?”

It was the first time she hung out with such a beautiful girl. If she could, she would have sweeter dreams tonight.
