Chapter 188: He Actually Waited Here for Two Hours

The two men couldn’t be bothered with Chi Yan’s clamor and remained silent.

The uneasiness in Chi Yan’s heart expanded like a ripple.

When Chi Jiao walked out of the house, she saw Quan Jue waiting under the big tree opposite their place.

The young man was wearing a white sweater and black pants, paired with a long black coat. It accentuated his perfect height.

Chi Jiao wore a white woolen sweater, a short black skirt, knee-length black socks, and a pair of black sheepskin leather shoes. Side by side, they looked like they were wearing a couple’s outfit.

Her slightly curly long hair was loose, and there were delicate cherry hair clips at her temples. The girl exuded a sweet aura from head to toe.

Quan Jue’s gaze was fixed on Chi Jiao as she ran towards him. “Why are you running so fast?”

“How long have you been waiting here?” Chi Jiao asked.

If she hadn’t opened her window and saw Quan Jue waiting outside, she wouldn’t have known that he was already here.

“Not long,” Quan Jue replied.

“Really?” Chi Jiao was a little suspicious.

“Two hours,” Quan Jue whispered.

Chi Jiao gasped.

On such a cold day?

Her maiden heart instantly felt a little sweet but also a little heartache.

“You came so early. Why didn’t you call me to come out?” Chi Jiao asked with a frown.

Quan Jue placed a finger on her forehead. “You were sleeping two hours ago.”

He woke up early and had nothing to do, so he came earlier to wait for her.

Chi Jiao puffed up her cheeks. “If you call me, won’t I wake up?”

“There’s no need.” Quan Jue pinched her cheeks, not wanting to dwell on this issue. “First Miss, we should go now.”

When Chi Mingwei came out of the villa’s courtyard, he saw Quan Jue and Chi Jiao standing intimately together. He instantly felt like he had suffered a huge blow.
