Luckily, just this evening, Mu Wansu got the news that a golden flame beast, vanished for hundreds of years, appeared by a river about thousands of miles away from the Green-sun Tribe, which was probably closely related with the Peerless Treasure.

And according to the news, that beast killed the eldest son of Liu Wujun, the governor of southwest province in the empire. A breaking news that could set off an uproar!

Mu Wansu had decided to find out the whereabouts of this golden flame beast first thing tomorrow.

But what surprised her most was that, on this very night, she met that cheeky boy again when she planned to discuss something with Yan Zhen, manager of the Keystone Business in Green-sun Tribe.

At this moment, standing far away and watching Yan Zhen questioning Lin Xun, who now looked exactly like a lamb to be slaughtered in the middle of the crowd, Mu Wansu somehow felt overjoyed.

Touching her forehead, Mu Wansu just felt so speechless. How could this boy be so unashamed? Calling her so affectionately would really lead others to believe that they were intimate.

Mu Wansu would very much like to pretend that she didn’t know him and walk straight away. But the token was a gift from her Big Childe. Should she really do that, she dared not to face her Childe when he knew it.

Mu Wansu hesitated. If possible, she’d really pull the little bastard by his ears to vent her anger. He was really irritating to ask for help so deservedly!

Puzzled by such a scene, Yan Zhen and others present all looked far away and immediately saw Mu Wansu standing afar.

Wearing a black dress as usual, she had a delicate and attractive face, her hair in an elegant bun, her figure extremely graceful and her black eyebrows straight, exuding an air sharp like a blade. Just like a wild rose blooming on a cliff, she was enchanting but dangerous with thorns.

Others were confused too.

But the expressions of the nicely dressed middle-aged man et al. altered dramatically. This young boy was actually a friend of the Big Childe? They dared not even to think about what would be waiting for them should their Childe know what happened today…

The nicely dressed middle-aged man, especially, couldn’t help regretting being a bit rude just now. But how the hell could he know that this shabby boy would have such a shocking background?

Just then, he saw Lin Xun turning around and looking at him. Getting anxious, he thought that Lin Xun was going to settle scores with him.

Quite unexpectedly, he saw Lin Xun cupping his hand and apologizing, “Please excuse me for being impetuous. I should assume primary responsibility for it. Uncle, please do not take it to heart.”

The middle-aged man was in a daze and replied subconsciously, “Never mind. It was just a mistake. Childe, please don’t take it personal either.”

“May I know your name, my Childe?” Yan Zhen asked politely, getting quite enthusiastic now. With a gentle and cultivated appearance, he always wore a smile when talking, feeling like a breath of fresh air.

“Senior, you’re too courteous. My name is Lin Xun.” Cupping his hands, Lin Xun replied with a warm smile.

Mu Wansu sat alone on the other side, and studied a delicate teacup in her hand absently, seeming completely indifferent to the conversation.

Though surprised at her attitude, Yan Zhen continued, “Childe Lin, it is all our fault. Please excuse us for being inconsiderate.”

Hearing that, Lin Xun behaved even more humble. He stood up immediately, cupped one hand in the other and replied apologetically, “Senior, please don’t mention it. The primary fault is on me; how could I blame others?”

Yan Zhen was a bit confused about Lin Xun’s intentions. This boy had been so tough in the hall, but why so humble now?

Thinking that, Yan Zhen said, “May I ask why you didn’t take out the token at the very beginning? If so, this mistake could probably be prevented…”

Before he even finished his sentence, Lin Xun answered with some embarrassment, “You may not know that, in a critical condition like that, I was not sure about what this token was for. So I acted tough, thinking that you would surely come out as long as I stirred up some trouble.”

Yan Zhen went speechless. At least this boy was honest about all his wicked ideas. A boy of good conduct.

The thing was this boy was quite resilient and tactical. If not for what he saw, Yan Zhen would suspect that Lin Xun was an extremely sophisticated adult.

“Is it really what you think?” Mu Wansu asked all of a sudden, her beautiful eyes staring sharply at Lin Xun like a blade.

She could tell it instantly that this brat had been talking nonsense from the moment he entered the room. He looked humble and talked in a way that no one could pick holes. What a cunning boy!

More importantly, Mu Wansu knew it well that Lin Xun would never make such a big noise publicly simply for luring Yan Zhen out. He must be secretly planning something.

Just then, she saw Lin Xun sighing with a forced smile, “Dear sister Wansu, this is the first time I have walked out of a remote village. If, by any chance, I have done something improper out of my ignorance, please do not hesitate to point it out.”

Saying that, he saluted earnestly toward Mu Wansu.

Mu Wansu knew that he was just acting, but it would be too ungenerous of her to blame more with his perfect conduct.

“You little brat is getting foxier than ever.” Much dismayed in heart, Mu Wansu said with a charming smile, “Well, it’s over. Don’t mention it again. Besides, you’re the one our Childe values. Even real mistakes can be forgiven.”

“Haha, Miss Wansu is right. Say no more of this matter.” Yan Zhen laughed, “By the way, Childe Lin, may I know your purpose of visiting Keystone Business?”

Hearing that, Lin Xun suddenly looked serious. He cupped his hands and said, “To be honest, I’m here for two important matters.”

“Please go ahead.” Yan Zhen smiled, stroking his beard.

“For one thing, I’m here to trade some goods for daily supplies on behalf of villagers in Feiyun. Meanwhile, I sincerely hope to reach a trade agreement with Keystone Business.” Lin Xun said quickly, “Senior, you may not know it. Feiyun Village now can provide an abounding amount of Feiyun Fire-copper, which, I believe, Keystone Business also needs. Therefore, I hope we can sign a trade agreement to collect and trade in Feiyun Fire-copper, developing a lasting way to make money for Feiyun Village”

Raising his eyebrows, Yan Zhen asked, “Feiyun Fire-copper?”

“Yes, it is. Sister Wansu and your Big Childe have also seen it when they visited Feiyun Village last time.” Lin Xun smiled and involved Mu Wansu in this matter with just one sentence.

She glared at Lin Xun and finally nodded, “He is right.”

After a glance at Mu Wansu, Lin Xun looked at Yan Zhen and forced a wry smile.

Simply looking at his expression, Mu Wansu got a sinking feeling that this little brat would definitely take the opportunity to ask for something really tricky! She didn’t even have to hear what he was going to say!
