The metalman continued to walk towards the exit as he watched the two cats struggling to escape from his arms. He said, “Alright, I know you can understand me. So just stop struggling because it’s useless.”

“Furthermore, I’m not going to kill you or do anything bad to you. I’m just going to bring you to my friend. It will be a safer and more comfortable environment to be in.”

The metalman shook his head as both cats continued their relentless struggle. He continued, “Don’t be afraid, I’ll give you guys canned food when we get back…”

Suddenly, metalman’s vision turned blurry, and both cats had disappeared from his arms in a split second.

“Hmm?” Metalman heightened his alertness as he looked around for them. He immediately spotted Zhao Yao at the corner of the shopping mall. Zhao Yao took out the manila hemp from his waist and started to tie the kitten to restrain its movement. Matcha stood beside Zhao Yao with a smug on his face and shouted, “Hey big guy! Here comes my battle pet, you’re dead!”

“Zhao Yao, attack him, just slam your body against his.”

Metalman could not understand Matcha’s words as he did not possess the BOOK which Zhao Yao had.

He just stared at Zhao Yao with a look of suspicion. This time, Zhao Yao had already covered his face using his mask, making him an even more suspicious character in metalman’s eyes.

The kitten which was restrained by Zhao Yao’s manila hemp started to meow too. It stared at Zhao Yao indignantly, and a fierce female voice erupted in Zhao Yao’s head, “A*shole, let me go!”

“Hmm,” Zhao Yao took a glance at the kitten and thought, “Another female cat?”

The kitten was shocked to hear Zhao Yao’s voice in her head and replied, “You! You can understand what I’m saying?”

Zhao Yao sniggered and replied, “Take a break first. I will explain everything to you once I’ve taken care of this bloke.” Zhao Yao placed the kitten on his back as he spoke to her.

Metalman demanded, “Hmmm…are you the apostle to the LiHua cat? You used the power of teleportation to take away the cats from my hands?” That’s interesting.”

Zhao Yao’s faced turned into a frown as he replied, “Are you a cat thief?”

Metalman started loosening his shoulders and said, “Don’t you collect supercats too? After adopting these supercats, we receive the power from them, making ourselves invincible. Does that require further explanation?”

“The fat LiHua cat belongs to me while the kitten is a stray cat. However, I’m here to adopt the stray cat which means that you are stealing from me.”

“What an accusation,” Metalman replied with a sneer.

As metalman was speaking, he accelerated towards Zhao Yao and was about to smash his body against Zhao Yao.

Not only did his defense improved radically with his metal coating, but his weight had also increased to a point where it was far heavier than any ordinary human being. The effects were similar to a knight wearing his armor. If not for his muscular body, most human beings would have crumbled under the metal’s weight.

He was like an elephant on a rampage as he sprinted towards Zhao Yao. Every step he took was followed by a thunderous boom as he continued racing toward Zhao Yao with an unprecedented amount of power.

If this force smashed an average person, he would undoubtedly suffer from fractures or even internal bleeding.

However, Zhao Yao had received Matcha’s superpower and had gone through rigorous training. When put against such a clumsy attack, he could have dodged it even if his power was on cooldown.

He tilted his body to the side to dodge the attack and whispered, “Elizabeth.”

A glimmer of red light flashed across his eyes, and Zhao Yao was in control of metalman’s body.

Metalman just felt that his body went stiff and he had lost control of his body’s movement. He stared at Zhao Yao with a look of astonishment and said, “You…”

Metalman’s fist started to punch his face repeatedly. Under the influence of Zhao Yao’s power, the metalman could not help but let Zhao Yao control his movements.

When his metal fist struck against his metal head, it was like a hammer smashing against a coin. There was a constant clanking sound as metalman was left in a daze after the beating.

At that moment, something violently grabbed onto Zhao Yao’s ankle.

“Hmm, another partner?” The same red light flashed across Zhao Yao’s eyes, and he had already controlled the opponent using Elizabeth’s power.

Zhao Yao took a safer approach by putting the unknown enemy under Elizabeth’s power immediately to prevent any mishaps from happening. It would be disastrous if the unknown enemy was extremely powerful and managed to subdue Zhao Yao.

Zhao Yao immediately took a few steps back from the unknown enemy. Consequently, metalman had been released from the influence of Elizabeth’s power, and he once again charged against Zhao Yao with a loud roar.

Zhao Yao raised his eyebrow and whispered, “Matcha.”

The cooldown for Matcha’s power had elapsed, and the entire world turned into a standstill. Zhao Yao walked towards the metalman and landed a fury of kicks on his knee.

You would only be as strong as your weakest link. In metalman’s case, due to the position of his joints, they were not coated with metal which left them wide open for attack. Under the pressure of the additional weight, his joints were made even more vulnerable.

When time resumed, metalman felt a blur in his vision, and Zhao Yao had disappeared. He felt a searing pain in his knee. It was as if a giant hammer had smashed against it. Furthermore, under the weight of his armor, his knee buckled.

Metalman’s knee fractured as he collapsed to the ground with a loud clank. His fall was similar to a Spanish fighting bull collapsing in a bullfight.

Zhao Yao was standing not too far away, with the kitten on his back and Matcha in his arms. He stared at metalman carefully in case he suddenly retaliated.

Matcha tapped Zhao Yao on his shoulders and pointed his paws towards metalman and said, “Good job Zhao Yao! Now is the time for your million ton punch.”

“Shut up,” Zhao Yao said as he slapped Matcha across his head, “We still have one more enemy lurking around. The enemy’s only option is to attack me or save his friend.” Zhao Yao stared at the metalman and road with laughter, “So what are you planning to do now?”

Metalman stared at Zhao Yao with a gloomy expression.

Within a short span of less than 1 minute, Zhao Yao not only wielded a vast array of skills and he did it nonchalantly. Zhao Yao was able to defeat him without breaking a sweat.

The metalman then shouted, “Don’t save me, return first! Go back to our boss, and he will think of something!”

“Oh? So you guys have a boss?” Zhao Yao frowned and continued, “I guess you guys are a cat thief organization?”

The metalman just giggled as he looked at Zhao Yao. He did not want to initiate another fight nor was he interested in begging for mercy. He just stared at Zhao Yao and spoke in a matter-of-fact tone, “You are strong. Honestly speaking, I’ve never seen a human borrow so many power and used it so proficiently. You are definitely the first of your kind.

However, strength always lies in numbers. As long as we use an ingenious method to sneak up on you, even the strongest apostle or supercat will fall without a fight. Are you sure you want to be our enemy?”

Even though the enemy was incredibly strong and took him down in a matter of seconds, metalman was not dejected nor was in awe of the enemy’s power.

To him, there was no such thing as absolute strength regarding superpower. This was unlike a martial arts novel.

Regardless of how strong you were, you would still be vulnerable to backstab, hypnosis and other methods of assassination.

Metalman believed that the only method to acquire real strength was in numbers. By establishing an organization where apostles and supercats could look out for one another, they would be invincible.

That was the goal metalman was heading towards.
