Chapter 1109: Closers World Retreat

Zhao Yao knew that the entire World would be excited over the existence of the spaceship.

He was indifferent. He had handed the spaceship over to the humans to do research. He had more important things to do.

When he returned to the Extradimensional Belly, he placed the cats from the spaceship in Closers World. Then he took a look at Exploding Scorch and Calamity Marshal. After he was sure it was safe, he swallowed the black ball into his stomach and his awareness slipped into Closers World.

He wanted to observe the two cats’ situation.

On the grass plains, the Long Fur Cats who were resigned to fighting monsters cried out when they saw the arrival of Exploding Scorch and Calamity Marshal.

“Ah! The Exploding Scorch and Calamity Marshal were captured!”

“Finished! We’re finished! We have to be slaves for the rest of our lives!”

Seeing Exploding Scorch and Calamity Marshal working obediently with Matcha’s arrangements, Zhao Yao nodded his head. Closers World was able to subdue them.

After the Long Fur Tribe had lost Exploding Scorch, Calamity and Virus Marshals, their advantage in the war was greatly reduced.

Zhao Yao examined the evolution progress in Book. After the inclusion of two Level 70 supercats like Exploding Scorch and Calamity Marshal, Sphynx cat’s evolution progress was greatly increased.

“At this rate, Sphynx cat will be able to level up within a day.”

Sphynx cat’s was at Level 73. With the Cat Emperor Armor’s +10 bonus, he was at Level 83.

After upgrading 17 levels, he would be able to match the levels of the Furless Tribe’s White Short Star and the Short Fur Tribe’s Whitehand.

Zhao Yao decided to stay in Closers World to work on the evolution progress.

Matcha saw Zhao Yao at a distance. He ran over and said, “Zhao Yao, Zhao Yao, didn’t I do a good job? I’ll make sure those aliens cats are properly taught!”

“Hmm, not bad.” Zhao Yao looked at Matcha and felt that he had nice features.

Zhao Yao could not help stroking his head as Matcha showed his enjoyment of the stroking.

Matcha was taken aback. “Ah? Why did he leave in such a hurry?” He looked at his own fur. “Is orange fur out of fashion?”

When Zhao Yao returned to the material realm, he was glum.

“Just now… is that the side effect of the Sphynx cat? Am I…”

He returned to the Cat Wonderland quietly and watched the men and women on the streets. His heartbeat accelerated.

“No, the side effect’s too strong. I remember how Matcha’s features appeared handsome…”

Zhao Yao realized the seriousness of the problem. Sphynx cat was his highest ranking superpower. Previously, he could use the alien cat’s superpower to suppress the side effects, but now it was ineffective.

Feeling his fast heartbeat and his mind flashing with images of Matcha, Zhao Yao covered his face. “Who could resist such temptation?”

He quickly logged in Matcha’s account to Closers World.

“I have to quickly upgrade another cat and let him surpass Sphynx cat’s level.”

Zhao Yao returned to Closers World and found that Matcha was leveling up rapidly. He heaved out of relief.

He discovered someone had texted him. After pondering, he decided to ignore it. He would wait for Matcha to surpass Sphynx cat.

Zhao Yao stayed in Closers World daily, ignoring all messages and avoiding everyone.

The Cat Revolution Society wanted to see Zhao Yao regarding the capture of the three marshals of the Long Fur Tribe but he declined.

Zhao Yao was afraid of losing control when he saw other people and cats. Once he lost control, nobody could control him.

Though Zhao Yao was in a retreat, the war of the three tribes did not stop.

Instead, the war became more intense because the three marshals were missing and the Long Fur Tribe lost their upper hand.

The Short Fur Tribe initiated their Source Plan and created large amount of Cat Sage level cats. They used these powerful cats to gain an advantage.

Next, the Long Fur Tribe mass produced large quantities of Calamities who were deployed on the battlefield. Though they were not as powerful as the original Calamity, they were about Level 70 in combat power. They not only stopped the Short and Furless Tribes’ attacks, but they also retaliated.

As the Long Fur Tribe gained the upper hand again, the Furless Tribe’s most powerful supercat, White Short Star, appeared on the battlefield.

He swallowed the moonbase of the Furless Tribe and appeared on the battlefield with his planet-sized body. Once he attacked, he destroyed a Chaos Stronghold, killed a field marshal and disintegrated countless space cruisers.

The Long Fur Tribe were in a disadvantaged position after White Short Star intervened.

Normal weapons and superpowers were ineffective against the planet-sized White Short Star who had unparalleled agility and movement.

The large numbers of cat-made humans from the Calamity Project were useless against the White Short Star.

As numerous supercats expected the Long Fur Tribe to come up with another unscrupulous ploy or for the strongest supercat from the Long Fur Tribe to appear, an unexpected thing happened.

The Long Fur Tribe units retreated in large numbers, including their 12 occupied sectors. The Short and Furless Tribes did not pursue as they were afraid of a trap.

A small scale probing attack discovered that the Long Fur Tribe had abandoned all 12 combat sectors, including large occupied territories.

With the lead of the White Short Star, the Short Fur and Furless Tribes’ units probed along the enemy’s retreat route and discovered planets devoid of cats.

There were no supercats on the planets, only ordinary humans were left behind. Nobody knew what happened.

They only knew that the supercats retreated with the cat slaves, leaving the normal humans confused.

The Short Fur and Furless units occupied the Long Fur Tribe’s planets and tracked the enemy’s retreat but they did not find any Long Fur cat survivors.

Until they arrived at the Long Fur Tribe’s mother planet…

During the war, Zhao Yao stayed in Closers World as he watched Matcha level up bit by bit.

This morning, Zhao Yao saw that Matcha had reached Level 90 and he was relieved. “Since Matcha reached Level 83, my strange tendency has abated. I guess I’m alright now?”

Zhao Yao received a Wechat message from Matcha.

“Since I announced that I was in a retreat, I haven’t received any messages for a long time. What could have happened?”

Zhao Yao was shocked by Matcha’s message.
