One day later.

In the depths of the mantle layer.

Zhao Yao was pushing the molten material away as he moved forward like a fish.

Six hours ago, the surface of the planet was no longer fit for survival. The mechanics troops and the amount of warships increased continuously and Zhao Yao was exhausting large amounts of energy to battle every moment.

Although he had Ultra Rapid Regeneration, it could not prevent weariness.

To avoid the troops from pursuing him further, Zhao Yao went deep into the mantle depths and used the naturally high temperature and pressure environment to block most of the warships and troops outside.

But, there was still a part of the troops that could still pursue him…

Zhao Yao’s ears twitched and he turned his head. Although his vision was non existent with the molten substances, he could still identify things from the vibrations.

“They are here again? So fast…”

A few thousand meters away, there hundreds of elite soldiers were tracking the location of Zhao Yao. Their bodies were made of the newest invented superalloy and they had anti gravitational engine inside their bodies. They even had weapons like frozen guns and plasma lightsabers to fight in the mantle layer.

Upon hearing something, Zhao Yao stopped and then he charged towards the enemy.

He punched and the Deflective Field swept across the field. It brought about an energy that was approximately a few million tonnes.

Due to the molten material around them, the energy was weakened and as it spread outwards, it depleted quickly. By the time the energy reached the soldiers, it was so weak that it only moved their bodies slightly.

Zhao Yao used that chance to detect where the soldiers were and then he pushed away the surrounding molten objects. He reached out and grabbed the head of an elite soldier.

Pom!

There was a loud sound and the soldier’s head was affected but he was not killed. His hands shot out ultra cold rays and his legs turned into two plasma swords and slashed towards Zhao Yao.

However, Zhao Yao was faster. He held onto the soldier’s palm and shook it. The attack dissipated and then, he punched him through the chest and the force field spread out and it crushed the soldier into a ball of metal.

“So hard.” Zhao Yao frowned. The new elite troops that had appeared were much harder to deal with than the ones before. Evidently, they were created for the mantle layer environment.

Zhao Yao’s gaze grew solemn as he attacked the other soldiers. A few minutes later, the wreckage was swallowed by the surrounding molten metal and he swam to other places in the mantle layer.

“Heh heh, this environment is just right for me to practice. The passive environment and active training will increase my physical capabilities greatly.”

Meanwhile, in the space station, Calamity Marshal’s face fell. “A weak cat slave hid from us for so long…”

Robot Marshal said, “He did not have to borrow powers. This means that even without supercats, he can use his superpowers freely. Humans must not be able to attain such abilities.”

Calamity Marshal said, “Rest assured, he will not be able to escape. He cannot use Dimensional Travel and Awareness travel. He will not be able to leave the planet. No matter what he does, he is just stalling time.”

Robot Marshal said, “It is not enough… Gus and Tott are here.”

As they spoke the cabin door opened and two cats walked in. One cat was covered in mechanics and another covered in white flames.

The cat in white flames was Exploding Scorch Marshal. He laughed. “Robot, Calamity I heard that you guys spent a dozen hours trying to catch a cat slave and failed. I am actually the same rank as cats like you.”

Calamity Marshal: “Exploding Scorch, you are looking for death…”

Virus Marshal who was covered in mechanics said coldly, “I have no time to look at you guys quarrel. Where is he? I will leave after settling this.”

Robot Marshal said, “Virus Marshal is right. We need to hurry up. He should not have much strength left. The four of us can attack together and capture him as fast as possible.”

Calamity Marshal: “Remember to not kill him. We need him alive.We have a lot of intel to gather from him.”

“Noted!” Exploding Scorch’s flames rose and he was the first to charge out. He turned into a meteor and flew to the surface of the planet.

Upon seeing the planet that was burnt into a fiery ball, he rejoiced. “Hahaha, it’s so pretty! Let me add more fire!”

In the mantle layer, Zhao Yao, who was swimming around at a fast speed raised his head. “Something is coming.”

Then, his vision brightened and he could see again.

The surrounding molten materials turned into flames and spread out, revealing a large empty space.

At the same time, a fiery tunnel that appeared on top of Zhao Yao’s head. It was a fiery tunnel that Exploding Scorch Marshal had created using his own powers. He had turned all the magma into flames.

As the tunnel rose up, a large amount of soldiers swarmed into the mantle layer and attacked Zhao Yao.

Zhao Yao glared. “They brought me back up?”

There was an overwhelming amount of mecha forces attacking towards Zhao Yao and all the elite war machines released the high-energy particle, energy weapons, force fields, radiation, and electromagnetism. They were out to destroy everything in front of them.

Zhao Yao was in a rampage and his body traveled at ten times the speed of light. He was like a meteor that turned the mechanics army into scrap metal wherever he went.

Soon, he felt that he was getting slower and slower. The force field and energy used on him were getting stronger, there were also more superalloy soldiers blocking his way. Hence, his speed was decreasing.

At the same time, Calamity Marshal, who was wearing armor and hiding in the mechanics army, attacked.

It was no longer the distance curse, a variety of bad luck, illness, and counter curses were cast on Zhao Yao.

Originally Zhao Yao could fight the mechanics troop, but now he felt pressure. Although Zhao Yao was attacking he would hurt himself and there would be times where he didn’t manage to dodge the bullets. His skin started to bleed then he would start coughing and get dizzy for no reason.
