Chapter 1732 I Want to Plant Trees Too

Every time Qiao Mei returned to her in-laws' house in the capital, she would bring Liu Yun a lot of good stuff. In the afternoon, Xia Zhe planted trees in the courtyard while Qiao Mei sat under the big tree near the door and chatted with everyone. After thinking for a long time at home, Jin Yao decided to go and say some nice things to Qiao Mei and curry favor with her.

Jin Yao was not a nasty person, just a greedy one. She always ate up all the food at home and went to the county city to shop at least four days a week. In the entire military family compound, she was the one who went to the county city most often.

Jin Yao looked at the remaining foodstuff in the house. She could not bear to give anything nice to Qiao Mei, so she only picked out three small apples in the end. It was difficult for her to have to give them to Qiao Mei! If not for the fact that she wanted to hitch a ride in Qiao Mei's car in the future, she would not go and make conversation with Qiao Mei.
