Before Qu Rou could finish speaking, Director Zheng interrupted her.

“I remember that you also have a seven o’clock scene today, but you only arrived now. Do you want me to delete all your scenes?!”

“Director Zheng, I’m not…”

“Enough! You don’t have to say any excuses! I’ll adjust your scenes in the future!” Not wanting to look at her anymore, Director Zheng waved his hand impatiently and let Qu Rou leave.

Mo Rao remembered the faces of those flustered people and made up her mind not to interact too much with these people in the future.

Since they spread rumors about her this time, they might spread rumors next time as well.

“Did the rumors you warned the others about have something to do with Mo Rao?” Yu Ye asked in a low voice.

“Yes! You’re with Rao Rao every day, so it’s normal for you not to know,” Director Zheng replied. After all, those people didn’t have the guts to spout nonsense in front of Mo Rao.

Yu Ye frowned. “From the looks of it, you seem to know who spread the rumors about Mo Rao. Why didn’t you just chase them out?”

Director Zheng raised his hand and knocked Yu Ye’s forehead.

“It’s easy for you to say! Is Rao Rao all your eyes ever see? Even Rao Rao and her manager didn’t pursue the matter, but you’re here to uphold justice.”

Yu Ye took a few steps back unhappily and distanced himself from Director Zheng.

“Alright, there are no buts. Just do your job. I’ll handle the rest. Don’t interfere.”
