Only Elder Huo remained confused and asked, “W-what’s going on?”

“Five years ago in Europe, there was a lot of artillery fire. Yun Qing tried to save a child, but she was almost injured by an explosion. I went up to save her,” Huo Chuan explained calmly.

After Elder Huo heard that, he immediately urged them excitedly. “Oh my! So there’s such history between Huo Chuan and Yun Qing! Huo Chuan did not tell me about this before…”

“It’s all in the past.” Yun Qing felt awkward. After all, she had lied to Huo Chuan before, but she did not expect to be unmasked at such an occasion.

Huo Chuan’s gaze remained fixated on Yun Qing for a long time, making Yun Qing uncomfortable.

Elder Huo retained the smile on his face and looked at Huo Chuan, who was beside him.

Yun Qing was eating quietly at the moment and did not join in the conversation.

“Grandpa, this thumb ring is not bad. Miss Yun has good taste.” Huo Zhou’s sudden words broke the ice.

Yun Qing looked up at the man who seemed far too happy for the situation and rolled her eyes in her heart. If it not for this man, she would not have been so embarrassed.

“Oh, right, I was too busy chatting and forgot to introduce you. This is my second son’s child, Huo Zhou. He has been abroad all year round and is planning to return to China to develop his career.” Elder Huo patted Huo Zhou’s shoulder. He then introduced him to the Yun family.
