Chapter 219: Nothing Personal

“What’s going on?” Yun Qing put down the document, stared at Huo Chuan and asked.

Huo Chuan hid nothing and said bluntly, “This project has been transferred to me.”

“You deliberately targeted Sun Chen?” Yun Qing could only assume so. After all, just two days ago, Huo Chuan and Sun Chen had a direct conflict.

Huo Chuan did not deny it. “There was no deliberate targeting involved. This is just a business maneuver.”

Yun Qing frowned. “Huo Chuan, you are despicable.”

Huo Chuan was unhappy when he saw Yun Qing defending Sun Chen. “Do you like that man so much?”

“Is there a problem with cooperating with me on this project?” Huo Chuan saw Yun Qing’s furious expression and felt even more displeased. “I can give you more than what Sun Chen can give you!”

“I don’t need it!” Yun Qing rejected Huo Chuan directly. “Do you think I’m cooperating because of profits? I care about my partner.”

In order to allow Yun Qing to obtain greater benefits, Huo Chuan changed the previous split to 70% for Yun Qing and 30% for him. However, Yun Qing took no notice of that.

“Yun Qing, this cooperation belongs to you. Now that you’re working with me, there won’t be any harm,” Huo Chuan softened his tone and advised her nicely.

He wanted Yun Qing to know that he really wanted to treat her well.

However, Huo Chuan did not know that from the moment he took the project from Sun Chen, Yun Qing would outright shoot him down.

“I think it’s better to forget about it.” Yun Qing turned him down without hesitation. “I don’t want to cooperate with you on a project that you snatched from someone else.
