Both Su Jian’an and Tang Yulan were good cooks. They soon laid out a huge spread.

“He fell asleep,” Lu Boyan said. “I took him back to the children’s room.”

“The children’s room is soundproofed,” Lu Boyan said. “The fireworks will continue in the next few days. I’ll insulate the room so that Xiyu and Xiangyi won’t be disturbed.”
