Chapter 443

Translator’s Thoughts:

First of all, I want to let you know that the previous translator is using a different approach to the translation like padding or supplementing on many things. This is not a bad way to translate, but it sometimes ends up changing the overall view of the writing or what the author envisions.

As the current translator working on this series, I don’t want to follow the same style as the previous translator, so there will be differences in the way we portray the characters. I am simply following how the author writes it and will only add the minimum number of changes to the chapter as needed.

I will be using similar names that the previous TL (of WN) have been using since everyone has requested so. Do note that how the characters interact, like how they call each other, their behavioral patterns, and other characteristics may change since I am also only following what is on the raws and convey it in accordance to the hundreds of character references I have under my belt as a reader, an otaku, and translator of many titles.

I hope everyone understands and continues reading and enjoying the series. I really like this title and I have been reading this mostly through the raws, so I only have a vague understanding of changes the previous translator made.

“Nya, Nyaa! Nya, this is Lefi, the cat. Nyan, I want you to love me lots and lots!”

Lefi’s body was shaking, and her face was bright red from embarrassment, but she struck a cat-like pose.

On her head, she was wearing a Cat Ears headband.

Seeing this, I smirked at her, trying my best to rile her up.

“Hmmm, this is nice, don’t you think so? Well, as a husband, I’m delighted to see my wife looking so cute. After all, a Cat Ears headband is great, right?”

“Well, I’m glad you are pleased, Nyan. I am Yuki’s only cat, Nyan!”

“Hmph, kuku… Oh, I see. My own cat. I’m pleased.”

“I’m going to beat you up later, remember that.”

“What’s with that tone?”

“Nyan, Nyan! It was nothing, Nyan!”

“Hahahaha, you idiot! You can’t beat me, I’ll make you imitate a cat like this again and again!”

“I’ll tell Lyuu that Yuki is more of a cat person than a dog person, Nyan! And she would look at you with sad eyes, Nyan!”

“No, please don’t do that. Don’t, okay?”

After I teased Lefi for a while and had fun, she slammed the Cat Ears headband on the floor.

“Hmph… that’s enough! Let’s play again, one more time! I won’t let this be the end, Yuki!”

“What, you actually like Cat Ears? As your husband, I’ll play along with your peculiarities.”

“You’re the one with the peculiarities! What a stupid, arrogant, conceited…!”

The next game we were playing today was a board game called Geister, which was quite famous in my previous life.

It was a game with simple rules, but with deep psychological warfare, a game in which Lefi was not good at because of her easy-to-understand personality.

Although Lefi was getting better and better at this game recently, I still didn’t feel like I could lose in this kind of game.

Lefi exhaled loudly, not knowing how hard she was trying, but she seemed to be exhausted.

I slammed the Cat Ears headband to the floor.

Illuna passed by us on the way to the kitchen, but she just looked at me with a face that said, “Oh, it’s business as usual,” and passed by without saying a word.

I wish they would stop with that kind of reaction…
