Chapter 47 Have a Baby for Mum

Hand in hand, Ling Tianyi and Xia Xiaoluo walked into Ling’s villa. In the large living room, Ling Desheng and He Meishu were sitting on the couch. Ling Desheng was still very serious, but He Meishu was very delighted seeing her son and daughter-in-law went home together in an intimate way.

“Fine, let me accompany you take a walk in the yard to help with the digestion. After a little while, we’ll have dinner together. There’ll be plenty of dishes tonight.” He Meishu chattered.

“Xiaoluo, although you’re young, Tianyi is no longer young. We parents hope to have a grandson every day, so you two must work hard to have a baby earlier.”

“Actually, you don’t need to worry. I’ll help you take care of the baby. We just need a call to your school, and then nobody will bother you.”

“To give birth to a baby, the younger, the better. When you are older, it’ll be more dangerous for you.”

He Meishu kept chattering so much that Xia Xiaoluo understood the purpose she had her finished two bowls of soup was to get her prepared for bearing a baby!

At dinner, Xia Xiaoluo discovered that she had no need to be worried at all. She even didn’t need to put food on her own, because He Meishu had done that for her, putting fish and other delicious meat into her bowl, which was a treatment that Ling Tianyi never had before.

Moreover, He Meishu told to Ling Tianyi continually, “Tianyi, look after Xiaoluo well and put more food into her bowl.”

“Xiaoluo, eat more!” He Meishu was smiling, for it seemed that the more Xia Xiaoluo ate, the more likely she could bear a child.

After that dinner, Xia Xiaoluo was not only full, but also stuffed. Ling Tianyi gloated about that scene, looking at Xia Xiaoluo “enjoying” all of it.

When they were back home, he said to her, “Honey, Mum is crazy about having a grandson. Don’t take pills anymore, and have a baby for her!”

“I’m just eighteen, still a student!” Xia Xiaoluo was not willing to do that.

“When I want a son, if anybody dares to block the way, I’ll kill him! Mum was right. I’m no longer young, and I’d better prepare to have a son.” Saying that, Ling Tianyi could not wait anymore. To have a child, the first thing was to do his favorite exercise.

“You mean you just like sons, not daughters, right?” Xia Xiaoluo asked shyly. If Ling’s family kept forcing her, she had no choice but to bear a baby. However, she was afraid that they had a strong preference for sons, and they would treat her badly if she just gave birth to a girl.

“No more nonsense, honey. You can’t decide to bear a boy or a girl. We’d better listen to the arrangement of nature. Anyway, we shall have a baby first no matter it’s a boy or a girl, and ask Mum to look after he or she for us, in case she chatters all day long. Nevertheless, I still need to have a son in the end, to succeed Ling’s family business.” While talking, Ling Tianyi held Xia Xiaoluo to the bedroom.

Xia Xiaoluo finally understood, Ling Tianyi did have a preference for boys, but he was right that she couldn’t decide the gender of her baby. However, she did not want to give birth to any child!

Maybe, it was his words made her unhappy. Ling Tianyi worked very hard on his own, while Xia Xiaoluo didn’t cooperate.

“Honey, you behave badly today. Do more! Come on, kiss me!” Ling Tianyi took the initiative to kiss her, but Xia Xiaoluo just pecked his chin. In fact, she wanted to kiss his lips, but she was absent-minded, so she did not find the right position.

Ling Tianyi frowned and lowered his head, biting her thin lips. Xia Xiaoluo pushed him away instinctively. “It hurts!”

Ling Tianyi seemed to have seen through her thoughts. He said softly, “Don’t worry. I like both sons and daughters, and I’ll treat them equally. So, relax, just don’t give me a freak.”

“But… I… I’ve taken lots of pills. Maybe they’ll have an influence on my body, so let’s wait for a better moment! What if I give birth to an unhealthy one, you’ll definitely punish me.” Xia Xiaoluo felt a bit helpless, for she did worry about bearing a baby. She was just eighteen, and she herself was still a child: how could she give birth to a child! Moreover, Ling’s family paid much attention to children, and Ling Tianyi also talked about it, which made her more nervous.

“Well, you go to buy more back. No need to save money for me, and buy the best. Stop the pills for a period of time, and then let’s have a perfect baby.” Ling Tianyi said, lying above her body.

Although he did much exercise that night, he was still very energetic the next day, sitting in the office and dealing with the documents.

“President Ling, this is the lunch you want.” His right-hand man sent him lunch, but his secretary Luna often did it for him.

“Put it here. I’ll take it after this one.” Looking at the file, Ling Tianyi said.

It also has a complex network in Province G. Another one is Ouyang Ziqian, president of FLY Dance Club, which your wife joined in. Ouyang’s family has deep root in Europe, and there are also many branches in China. The more detailed, the better.” Ling Tianyi suppressed the anger in his heart, and he did not forget himself in front of Chu Yu because of Xia Xiaoluo’s affairs. However, he would figure out who the two boys were, for they dared to cast their eyes on his wife.

Chu Wei had expected that Ling Tianyi would want that information, so he just said, “Before I came, I’ve done the investigation and sent it to your mail box.”

After he left, Ling Tianyi read the information he sent, and didn’t stop for lunch.

Ling Tianyi called his secretary Luna in, “Check my schedule today. What’s the arrangement?”

Luna opened her notebook and answered carefully, “You’ve got an appointment with Mr. Cui from Qidong Group at 1:30 p.m., a board meeting at 3:00 p.m., and an interview with radio station an hour after the meeting starts. Besides, you need to go to Hously Hotel at 5 p.m. for the entrepreneur reception tonight.”

“Delay them for me.” Ling Tianyi said. He had no mood for work; all he cared about was his naughty little wife.

“President Ling, you’ve delayed your appointment about supply with Mr. Cui once for an emergency last time. If we delay it again, it might be a bit…” Luna didn’t finish her words on purpose. She was just a secretary, and she couldn’t blame her boss, but facing this kind of situation, she must remind the boss.

“Delay it again. Be polite. If he doesn’t agree, I’ll find other suppliers for Huasheng Group, other than Cui Baisheng.” After that, Ling Tianyi left the office.

He didn’t realize that he put down his work again for his little wife.
