Chapter 102 - Fu Hua Takes Jia Li To His Bedroom

When the last toast was made, Fu ChunHua glanced at Fu Hua and watched him drink from his wine glass, and she hid her smiling gaze with her wine glass as well.

'This is going to be so much fun!' Fu ChunHua thought before glancing at then annoyed-looking Fu Hee.

Fu Hee noticed her gaze and glared at her, but Fu ChunHua didn't take it to heart.

When the last toast ended, Fu Hua and Jia Li receive red packets from the rest of the Fu Family members for their wedding gift.

Considering that Jia Li would be tired after the whole day's hassle, Grandfather allowed everybody to retire for the night around 8 PM.

Jia Li felt grateful because she couldn't stand the glances she was receiving. It was too much for her.

After Fu Hee left the dining table, Fu Lei and Fu Geming followed with a few of the extended family members.

Jia Li was the next person to leave. She said good night to Grandfather Fu before leaving. Grandfather smiled at her and allowed her to leave.

When she was out of sight, Grandfather Fu lowered his tone and said to Fu Hua. "Won't you follow your wife?"

Fu Hua glanced at him with creased brows.

Grandfather Fu sighed and said to him, "Don't you think you need to show your wife the way to your room?"

With Grandfather Fu reminding him of this, Fu Hua remembered that Jia Li has never climbed upstairs before because her room and Grandfather Fu's study were on the ground floor, even the library too. So, there was no way she would know his bedroom.

So where then did she go to?

Fu Hua said good night to Grandfather Fu before leaving in silence.

Grandfather Fu smiled as he watched him leave. Then turning his gaze back to the dining table, he caught Fu ChunHua looking towards the direction that Fu Hua disappeared in, and the smile on his face was replaced with a stern glance.

Fu ChunHua was a bit startled when she was caught by Grandfather Fu's smile, but then she smiled back at him.

Jia Li who Grandfather Fu was worried about, seemed a bit dumbfounded at the sight of what used to be her room, or maybe her room.

She has just opened the door to her room, only to see how empty it looked. She thought she had stepped into the wrong room, so she took a step back and glanced at the door, and confirmed she was at the right place.

"Where are my things?" Jia Li muttered in a low tone as she walked inside, leaving the door open. She made her way towards her walk-in closet and saw some of her things there.

She walked into the bathroom, and she couldn't find anything there. Now noticing the things in her bathroom and bedroom were gone, she began to panic. And just then, she heard the cold male voice say to her...

"What are you doing here?" Fu Hua asked with his hands in his trouser pockets. After talking with grandfather just now, he wasn't surprised that Jia Li would be there.

Jia Li was surprised to see that tall handsome guy with a cold look standing inside her room.

'What is he doing here?' She thought.

"I...I want to sleep, but I can't find most of my things." Jia Li explained in a low tone.

Fu Hua gazed at her for a few seconds, and Jia Li couldn't tell what he was thinking. She was brought out of her thoughts when she heard him say, "Follow me!"

At first, she thought she didn't hear clearly until she saw him turn around and walk out of her room, then she immediately followed after him after closing the door to her room.

Jia Li followed Fu Hua and climbed the stairs. They walked through a hallway, and then took a turn before she saw him stop in front of the door.

Fu Hua opened the door to his bedroom before saying to her as he walked in. "Come in and close the door behind you."

Jia Li was confused by the instruction, but she just followed it. She has just walked in and closed the door before turning around, and only to see the majestic bedroom that belonged to him.

She stood at the door and glanced around the bedroom, and she concluded that Fu Hua was someone that had a high taste for good things.

'No wonder he dolled her up just for them to sign their marriage certificate.' Jia Li thought.

But this was not what was important. The important question is, 'What were the things missing in her room doing in his bedroom?' Jia Li screamed in her head ????

Seeing that she was still standing at the door and looking around his bedroom, Fu Hua frowned and asked, "What are you doing standing there?"

Jia Li finally regained her composure as she gazed at him and asked, "My things are here?"

Fu Hua gave her a confused glance as he asked, "Where else would they be? If you want to take your bath, the bathroom is that way. You can change inside there as well. Most of your clothes are in the walk-in closet, so feel free."

Jia Li was still in a state of confusion when Fu Hua said she should have her bath, that he would be right back.

Hearing the door close behind her, Jia Li came back to her senses and almost screamed in horror. She forgot she was now married to him, and it was right for them to share the same bedroom.

Jia Li was really scared for her life, but there was no time to waste. Since he said he would be back shortly, she had to hurry up and take her bath before he comes back in.

With this thought in her head, Jia Li immediately walked into the walk-in closet. There was no time to admire the expensive things there, and how stylish Fu Hua's things were, so Jia Li found the space her things were arranged and picked a conservative nightdress, then she walked into the bathroom to bath quickly.

By the time she came out of the bathroom, Fu Hua had already returned and was taking off his cuffs.

Fu Hua glanced at her before walking inside the inner room to change out of his clothes, and to take his bath.

Jia Li who had a big sweater wrapped around her body sighed in relief before turning to glance at the bed.
