101 Optimal Choice

“Prince Charming, what do you usually like to do?” Fang Han’s deskmate was a loyal fan of Shi He. She would watch almost all the news about him a few times. Now that she could finally see him in person, her heart raced excitedly and her face turned red.

“I usually spend my free time with my family, especially Manman. She’s our baby.” Shi He intentionally revealed how much he valued Shi Man so that the students of Class F would not bully his baby.

How could he have known that on the first day Shi Man came to Class F, she had reorganized the class? Fang Han, who had gone against her, could not even come to school again. How could they dare to provoke this big shot again?

Shi Man looked up incredulously and saw Shi Mu panting as he held the car door. There was a thin layer of sweat on his forehead. “Wait for me. I’ll go back with you.”

As Shi Mu had been raised by Shi He when he was young; even though Shi Mu had grown up, Shi He still could not change his habit of bullying him.

Shi Mu wouldn’t argue with him. He shamelessly got into the car and sat beside Shi Man with a smile. “I’m not afraid of death. If those crazy people attack again, I can help my sister block the bullets.”

Shi He snorted and did not say anything else. He raised his head and gestured for Ning Hui to drive. The group successfully arrived at the Shi family’s manor.

When she got out of the car, Shi Man was walking at the back. She suddenly stopped in her tracks and called out to Shi Mu. When he turned to look at her in surprise, she lowered her eyes and asked, “Brother, is what you said in the car true?”

“What did I say?” Shi Mu had been arguing with Shi He along the way. At this moment, he heard his sister ask a pointed question and suddenly remembered what she was referring to. He smiled brightly and said, “Of course it’s true. Brother will always stand in front of you to protect you.”

Shi Man walked up to him without saying a word and raised her hand to smooth the creases on his collar. Her eyes were firm and calm. “If something really happens, you have to protect yourself first and disregard me.”

“How can that do?” Shi Mu was instantly anxious and quickly argued with her. “How can I leave you behind and escape alone? Instead of being a coward, I might as well die.”

“I can protect myself. You have to believe me.” Shi Man looked at him seriously, her bright eyes rippling.

After living for two lifetimes, Shi Man finally understood what it meant to cherish.

She cared a lot about this precious kinship and was unwilling to let them take risks for her. She was not the original body of the useless person who would only cause trouble for her family. She could protect herself and not become anyone’s burden.

Shi Mu also looked down at her seriously. His intuition told him that his sister was not exaggerating. Based on his sister’s calm performance today, he could clearly feel the change in her. However, as her brother, he had long doted on Shi Man. Shi Man held back her amusement and smiled at him without saying anything. She turned around and walked into the manor.
